Did plutocracy ever leve the states?
post-58-2248803 August 2018
Summary "Income inequality has become a big issue in the modern day political spectrum. While these economic and class divides seem more pronounced than ever before, this documentary film Plutocracy: Political Repression in the USA reveals the main reasons of these struggles pre-date the beginnings of the industrialized labour force." Scott Nobles and Mikela Jays trilogy is an excellent watch for everyone interested in history, the class struggle of the poor masses against political oppression in America (and globally). During the trilogy of 6 and a halv hour the duo Nobles and Jay with a team of respected historians and specialists have really made a remarkable documentary about the American labour struggle. There is a lot of narratives, photos, historical frontpages and articles. All helping to take us back to the times where it all happened. I admit that I was thinking to save the trilogy for a rainy day, but a week later I'm still only half way trough. But the big picture is revealing it self. Capitalism turned plutocratic, will most likely become totalitarian, if uncontested by an opposing power strong enough to do so. Same goes for communism and every other ideology that human kind, through history allowed to be privatized and/or monopolized. Capitalism turned plutocratic in the U.S.A. hundred years ago did not evolve into totalitarianism (yet). Though by numbers plutocracy in the states wasn't as lethal as Stalins gulags, the concept of plutocracy is just as brutal in it´s path as communism later evolved into. I´t shocked me discovering that the trilogy has existed for three years and there is still no comment on IMBD. In contrast to the excellent rating only 14 people have rated the first part of the trilogy. By compairison "the Avengers" has a million+ voters.
