This review is for the US titled "Girls' War" released in 2017 which is the same documentary. It covers peoples with Kurdish heritage as they are engaged in conflicts in Turkey, Syria, and Iraq. Specifically how women are fighting (and in the case of ISIS being humiliated when they find out they are losing to women) for equality, life & freedom not only against ISIS, but also the governments of Turkey & Syria. Governments which are trying to restrain the historical Kurd quest for some autonomy and their decades old belief in equality & democracy for all it's peoples as well as others that live alongside them. Beliefs that align closely with French and American ideals.
