- Spider-Man: [after saving Gwen] There you are. Safe as can be.
- Gwen Stacy: Thanks. I don't mean to judge, but you know you could've just created a web-fan and made a wind cushion from the helicopter's air pressure, right?
- Spider-Man: [stutters] Yeah. I guess that's one why I could've done that.
- Gwen Stacy: But you still prefer your way, huh?
- Spider-Man: Not to judge, but you know you could've just ended with thanks, right?
- Gwen Stacy: I guess that's one way I could have done that.
- Spider-Man: [after saving the students with his web-net] Everyone nice and stucky?
- Herman Schultz: So this spider-kid is auditioning too, huh? Then I need a bigger arena to show off the full extent of my work.
- [uses his gauntlets to blast off]
- Clayton Cole: And may the best student win.
- [blasts off as well]
- Spider-Man: Hey, who said I was a student? And I'm not auditioning!
- Norman Osborn: Good. Because so far I'm not impressed.
- Spider-Man: [getting in between Herman and Clayton] How are you guys gonna get into any school when you're stuck in detention for 30 years?
- Clayton Cole: I don't know who you are, but we were here first!
- [blasts Spider-Man]
- Spider-Man: [talking to Gwen after the incident] By the way, I wound up using that fan maneuver you suggested. It helped save the day.
- Gwen Stacy: Of course it did. Too bad I couldn't help you stop the Jackal from getting away again.
- Spider-Man: Ouch.
- Police Officer #1: [chasing the Jackal] We got the Jackal cornered. All units respond.
- [they drive up to the building where the Jackal is]
- Police Officer #1: Hold your fire.
- Police Officer #2: He's take a captive.
- Spider-Man: Not on my watch, he isn't!
- [the Jackal climbs up the building holding Gwen. Gwen hits him in the face, causing him to let go of her. As she falls, Spider-Man swings in and grabs her]
- Spider-Man: Hey there.
