Well, Stephen, you should know that the show is based on a book called "You", and that's why the show is called "You". You have to understand the book is written completely in second person, and you should be aware that in second person, the author addresses the listener (person reading) as "you", and in this book you hear the protagonist constantly going on long, indignant rants that you hear him say "you" in, many times in one sentence, thus the title. Had the book been called "Stalker" (assuming you meant "stalker", not the most likely autocorrected version of the word that I already forgot that you suggested as a name, similar to "stalker") or "Creep" the show might have been, appropriately, named as such. You, hopefully, understand.
If you've read the book, you'll see how spot on the narration is, while it sticks loosely to the timeline. The show makes good choices for pacing, so far.
