- The Mystic Book and the National Scar moving book monsters that originally showed a random brief picture of a naked woman lying down on her stomach in the 1993 Super Nintendo, Android, iOS release. The 2018 remake has removed the naked woman picture in the Playstation Vita, Playstation 4 and PC Steam possibly due to the censorship of Sony on adult magazine depictions.

- The Boy, Girl and Sprite characters are seen fighting monsters with weapons like swords, spears, axes, bow and arrows, whips, javelins, boomerangs and fists. While the Girl and Sprite characters are seen fighting with magic attack spells which can kill the monsters they encounter in the top view action RPG game.
- While the Boy, Girl and Sprite characters are traveling in the game, they can get ambushed by the monsters and without protective armor, helmets and armbands, they can lose HPs and if all 3 of their HPs goes down to zero, then it's game over.
