Jeff Probst wouldn’t underestimate Cirie Fields.
Speaking to Et Canada, the host of Global’s “Survivor” shared his thoughts on watching the show’s legendary star Cirie Fields join “Big Brother” this season.

“Look, there’s a reason Cirie is in the ‘Survivor’ Hall of Fame,” Probst said. “And it’s this crazy ability that, you know, she’s a threat to win any social game she plays, and yet you want to keep her around. I don’t even get it. And I feel that way about Cirie.”
Fields, a nurse from Pennsylvania, has competed on “Survivor” four times, beginning with “Survivor: Panama” in 2005, and most recently in the “Game Changers” season in 2016.
She was also the co-winner of the reality competition “Snake in the Grass” in 2022, and won the first season of “The Traitors” earlier this year.

Big Brother Season 25 is here, and fans were shocked to see Cirie Fields join the cast during the premiere. Cirie is a reality TV veteran known for her intelligence, and the rest of the houseguests should be intimidated. Additionally, she has her son, Jared Fields, in the house with her. So, where have fans seen Cirie in the past? Here’s what to know about her history.
Cirie Fields got her reality TV start on ‘Survivor’
Viewers watching Big Brother Season 25 likely remember Cirie Fields from her early days on Survivor. She started on Survivor: Panama — Exile Island in 2005. She placed fourth during her first season.
Two years later, she joined the Survivor: Micronesia — Fans vs. Favorites cast. While Cirie made it to the final three players and hoped that meant she made it to the end, a twist in the season meant she had to face one last elimination.

Talk about a Multiverse twist!
In the final moments of the live 90-minute premiere of “Big Brother 25,” host Julie Chen Moonves unveiled one of the biggest shockeroos of all time: “Survivor” legend Cirie Fields would be joining the cast as the 17th houseguest. Cirie’s son, Jared Fields, had already been announced as a cast member, though he hinted he’d be keeping his identity secret so as not to come off as a threat to his fellow players. Now that they’re both in the house, there’s no telling whether Cirie and Jared will reveal their relationship to the others, or if they’ll keep it to themselves.
Cirie is often cited as the best “Survivor” player to never win the game. She took part in four seasons of that CBS reality TV show, coming in fourth place in “Panama,” third place in “Micronesia,” 17th place in “Heroes vs.

The 44th season of Survivor premiered on March 1st, captivating fans and making it one of the longest-running reality TV shows. Since 2000, Survivor has been a popular American reality TV competition on CBS with Jeff Probst as the host. It features contestants deserted on a remote island, to avoid elimination, must engage in challenges (both mental and physical) to gain rewards and immunity. In each episode, participants are voted off the island until only one wins the grand prize and becomes the “Sole Survivor.”

Ducks never say die! And actor Shaun Weiss–aka Mighty Ducks goalie Greg Goldberg–is hoping to get that message across significantly.
In a recent episode of the online chat show Addiction Talk, Shaun Weiss opened up candidly about his problems with drug abuse, theft, and his rather disturbing mugshot, looking a couple of decades older than his 40-year-old self.
“It’s hard to see those images…When I see them, they kind of shock me still…I was avoiding reflective surfaces, so I didn’t know what I looked like. I’m not exaggerating.” He continued, apologizing to Mighty Ducks fans. “I’m really sorry ‘Ducks’ fans had to see me like that…I’m really hoping my story can be useful, so it’s not just a sad thing that happened.”

The news of this show coming back is good, to be fair, but without Emilio Estevez, it still feels as though it might be far different than fans expect. For one, not having Estevez there is going to be odd since he’s been a part of the Mighty Ducks franchise for so long that trying to do anything without him makes it sound like this will be an entirely different show altogether. But this decision was made months ago when the second season was still in question, meaning that there’s been plenty of time to move forward, and the fact

"The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers" brought a new generation of peewee hockey players to Disney+ last spring. In the show's first season, 12-year-old Evan Morrow (Brady Noon) was cut from the titular team, which had turned into an ultra-competitive powerhouse. His mother, Alex (Lauren Graham), formed a new team of ragtag underdogs called the Don't Bothers, and she even got some reluctant but much needed help from former Mighty Ducks coach and hockey player Gordon Bombay (Emilio Estevez), who had since become the owner of a low level ice rink.
Of course, by the end of the first season this team of misfits and their mismatched coaches banded together, and in an unofficial but crucial game with a high stakes bet, the Don't Bothers defeated the elite Mighty Ducks and took the team name for themselves. But in the upcoming second season of "Game Changers," the Ducks will be out...

Last week’s jam-packed merge/Edge of Extinction extravaganza considered, I think it’s safe to say that we need more Survivor! Sixty minutes just isn’t enough for all the scheming, double-dealing and Probst-ian catchphrases! Imagine a supersized season with 90- or (dare we say it) 120-minute episodes, or at the very least, some Ponderosa-style webisodes. With all of the insanity in play, there’s bound to be enough footage to double, or heck, triple the Survivor glory! Water under the well, I suppose.

Well, they can’t all be winners. “Survivor” has been on for 20 years now and is currently airing its 40th season, so there’s bound to be some stinker seasons now and then. Jeff Probst and company continue to be some of the best in the reality TV biz, but that doesn’t mean they haven’t made some questionable decisions now and then. Then there are seasons that have brilliant concepts but for whatever reason, they just don’t work, whether it’s an unlikable cast or boring gameplay. Tour our gallery above to scroll through our list of the worst “Survivor” seasons of all time, ranked from bad to worst.

Oh, we had such hopes. Only one person can win “Survivor,” so 95% has to lose, but some lose harder than others. Some players look great on paper but utterly flame out once they start actually playing the game. Others do well for the majority of the season but end up choking in the end. Then there are those who play fantastic games on their first seasons but are not able to replicate that success on future iterations. Above, tour our guide of the most spectacular flameouts in “Survivor” history.
People like Amanda Kimmel and Russell Hantz have done well in multiple seasons, getting to Final Tribal Council not once but twice. But neither was able to convince the jury to vote for them to win in the end, with Amanda in particular seeming like a frontrunner to win only to flounder like a fish out of water in front of the jury.

“Survivor” can be one of the most entertaining shows on television, an adventure on a deserted island where strangers out-maneuver each other and compete in fun challenges. It can also be immensely uncomfortable when the illusion of the game fades away and real-life implications come into play. Above you can scroll through our photos of the 12 most disturbing moments in “Survivor” history, ranked from uncomfortable to ugly.
The safety of the “Survivor” castaways is always of grave importance, which is what makes the show’s medical evacuations so unfortunate to watch. Some, like Michael Skupin in “The Australian Outback,” have an accident, falling in the fire and requiring medical attention. Others push themselves to the brink, like Russell Swan in “Samoa” and Caleb Reynolds in “Kaoh Rong.” These are the worst kinds of “Survivor” exits, and while there can be compelling drama in seeing a castaway push themselves, it’s...

Love her or hate her, Sandra Diaz-Twine is one of the most well-known people to ever play the game of “Survivor.” During the third episode of “Winners at War,” the self-appointed queen made this startling announcement: “Here I am for the fifth time, and once this is over I’m retiring from the game. So this season I’m going to switch gears. I want to prove my word to this tribe.” Will you miss Queen Sandra on “Survivor”? Vote in our poll below.

Sandra’s first season was “Pearl Islands” (Season 7), which she won with a 6-1 jury vote over Lillian Morris thanks in part to her “anybody but me” strategy. The queen returned in “Heroes vs. Villains” (Season 20) as part of the villains tribe, ultimately defeating Parvati Shallow and Russell Hantz by a 6–3–0 jury vote.

As “Survivor: Winners at War,” the 40th season of the landmark reality competition series “Survivor,” continues to heat up we take a look back at some of the most notorious villains to play the game in its first 20 years (see above). Among our top picks are two champions currently competing for their second win and the $2 million cash prize on Season 40.
Without a doubt the nastiest player in series history is Russell Hantz, a two time runner-up in three seasons that was able to find hidden immunity idols without clues and use psychological warfare against his tribe mates in order to further his own game. In his second outing on “Heroes vs. Villains” he made the final tribal council for the second straight time, but received zero votes to win. All the votes went to “Winners at War” players Sandra Diaz-Twine and Parvati Shallow.

It was established in the very first season of “Survivor” in 2000 that playing the game as a winking devil was a viable way to win. Richard Hatch made an alliance and voted out everyone not in that alliance, which was considered taboo at a time when viewers and Richard’s fellow castaways were still trying to figure out the true nature of the show. He also employed a cocky attitude, which naturally led to other villainous winners playing the game with swagger. That was certainly true of Brian Heidik in “Survivor: Thailand” and Todd Herzog in “Survivor: China,” who played their respective castmates like a fiddle. Tour our “Survivor” gallery above featuring nine of the most diabolical winners in the show’s history.

Survivor‘s Winners at War season is off and running — and though the all-champs spectacular couldn’t possibly have been more anticipated, there’s one element that seems to have harshed fans’ mellow: the return of the highly contended Edge of Extinction twist.

When “Survivor: Winners at War” premieres Wednesday, February 12 on CBS, the 20 returning champs will be divided into two tribes: red Dakal (see above) and blue Sele (see below). How the tribe designations might affect the game remains to be seen, but there are several things to note about who ended up on what beach. For starters, married couple Rob Mariano and Amber Mariano have been understandably split up — he’s on Sele, she’s on Dakal. Of course, that still may not matter when it comes to their fellow players seeing the pair as the ultimate threat.

Parvati joined the “Survivor” winners list thanks to “Micronesia” (Season 16), a “Fans vs. Favorites” edition that welcomed back 10 former players to compete against 10 superfans. In the final tribal council, Parvati beat out fellow returnee Amanda Kimmel by a narrow 5-3 vote thanks in part to her flirtatious social game.

For the 39th season of “Survivor,” former winners Rob Mariano and Sandra Diaz-Twine have returned to serve as expert mentors for the new castaways. But even though they’re not eligible to win the $1 million prize, Boston Rob (winner of “Redemption Island”) and Queen Sandra (winner of “Pearl Islands” and “Heroes vs. Villains”) are still having to survive the elements on the Island of the Idols.
