When Ellen gets to Snow Falls the driver takes her bags out. She moves the two blue bags but leaves the white one while she tells the driver Merry Christmas. But before the guy hits it with the tree you'll notice the bag has been turned more towards the road.
After the guy hits the white bag with the tree, it rolls into street at an angle that the taxi would hit the side of the bag. But by magic the bag turns again so the taxi hits the edge of the bag.
The town comes down with a crazy winter storm that basically shuts down the entire town, with high winds, freezing Temps and presumably snow. Knocks out power on one side of town... "no one should be outside"... But a little later Ellen and the inn manager go for a midnight stroll through town and it's like nothing happened.
When Ellie is going around town soliciting gifts, her hatch on the Volvo is open stuffed with gifts. But when she comes out of the computer shop carrying the Mac the hatch is completely closed, but then open again as she drives away.
When arriving to take the bus the driver is loading luggage in daytime as she leave her bags and boards. Next scene is at night, the bus is moving as she's walking down the aisle looking for a seat.
The night of the big storm, Ellie and Jake take a walk outside and eventually get to the outdoor ice sculptures. Even though this is supposed to be an especially brutally cold night (they make the point that Ellie has to borrow a warmer coat to even go out during this tremendous storm) you can't see their breath at any time. This is true during the entire movie, not just during this scene.
The snow is obviously made out of shaving cream as Jake accidentally hits Ellen's suitcase with his vintage taxi.
The infant coos in some shots, despite not conveying any emotion.
When Debbie sings Silent Night near the end, she incorrectly sings "Shephards pray" instead of "Shephards quake".
