I was surprised by the fact of how divided the LGTBQI+ community was divided 40 years ago. Well explained

It is clear how the gay club scene was divided back in the 1980s.
There were gay clubs for young white people who would not want young black people and certainly did not one transvestites.
Blanca makes a stand and ends up being arrested. It is Elektra who comes to her assistance.
The more intriguing story is that of Stan and Angel. Stan married with children and a job in Wall Street. He just cannot get Angel out of his head and he gets a flat for her. This is a story I want to see how it turns out.
The problem for me is that the relationship between the young people such as Damon even in an era of AIDS is just not that interesting. Also the various challenges at the nightclub between the feuding houses gets boring very quickly.
