YOU - Episode 4
djrocky15 January 2019
Unbelievably full of filler... The story between Joe and Beck is starting to dwell on boring. The first thing you will notice right away is the change of tone and pacing. Allowing us to see Beck's thoughts was a huge mistake in the making of this series.

It's a real set back as I feel it would be far more effective to not know what's going on in her head. Not only is it boring to listen to her drone on about how she feels and what she thinks of the same situation repeated from her perspective instead of Joes.

But it really drags the episode down with a twist that was hardly a twist to begin with. The style throughout this episode feels like filler. The episode tries to make you feel for these characters but the acting and writing is not on par with the Pilot episode. It's startimg to decrease dramatically in quality...

Overall, it gets six stars from me. If you don't enjoy this episode, I recommend skipping it.

From one climax to another

"The Captain" is a solid fourth episode.

After a disastrous night, can Joe make amends? And who is the mysterious "Captain"?

A fun and unpredictable episode, the series tightens the suspense another notch.

Shay Mitchell's beautiful Peach is a worthy nemesis for Joe.

8 out of 10.

I loved the series until this episode

Warning: Spoilers
I hate cheesy or lazy writing. In this episode Joe hooks up with the girl he's stalking at his own house and has her belongings layed out throughout his house. While joe and his girl were making out everywhere in the home she missed seeing all her own stuff even tho it was in plain sight. Too cheesy for me. Writing could of been way better

LMAO it has a low rating because "no one wants to know Beck's thoughts and feelings"? And that's on misogyny. Just shows that the watchers just see her as am object with no thoughts and feelings.

You Season 1 Episode 4

Review : This episode is slow enough and I find this episode a bit boring. The first reason it seems boring is that the story of the episode is a mystery solution but it is not as interesting as it should be. I think somewhere the story has been stretched a bit to make this episode a 42 minute full episode. It is true that there is a bit of a romantic element to this, but the episode is quite boring in all respects.

Acting : All the actors and actresses have shown good enough humility and there is a perfect way in their work.

Direction : Speaking of director intent, I have to say that the director might have done a little better and someone could have made this episode a better one. In my opinion, the director has been a little careless.

Story and Dialogue : The story in this episode is a bit boring, there is a romantic element in the story of this episode, a mystery will be revealed and the real reason for lying will be known. But despite all this, I think some extra things have been made in the story of this episode and some important things have been left out. I think storytellers should have written better stories. Not a very high quality or special eye-catching dialogue is used, the use of fairly general dialogue is observed in the episode No numbers were used in the episode. Fairly good background scores have been used in the episode.

Soundtrack and Background score : No soundtrack were used in the episode. Fairly good background scores have been used in the episode.

Cinematography and Editing : The cinematography and editing are good enough.

Other Departments : Location, lighting, vfx everything is almost fine.

Overall Episode : Judging by all, I gave this episode eight out of ten stars.

Thanks so much for reading my review.

Warning: Spoilers
Joe came after 8 seconds sex inside Beck, a embarrassing moment on this show. Beck has a date at a The Seahorse Motel with "The Captain", a older man. Joe sees all the messages between Captain and Beck, Joe also goes to the motel. "The Captain" seems to be Beck's dad. Beck is going to a Dickens Festival with her dad. Joe stalks Beck on the Festival. Beck found Joe at the Festival. Beck sends Joe away because she is to emotional. Beck and Joe have sex again but now more passionate and longer. Nice episode but not like the first three episodes, Penn Badgley is a really good actor.

Boring and dull

After a great start, this episode is a big let down. Her thoughts makes Joe less interesting, it is a mistake.

I will continue watching the series, because I know it gets better, but man, what were the writers thinking with this one....

Terrible episode
tony81010 January 2020
Beck's internal monologue is so unwelcome. The episode only confirms her to be what I already feared - Beck is really annoying.

The only redeemable moments in this episode comes when Joe attempts to hide any evidence that he's been spying on Beck. This lasts what, a few minutes of screen time, at most?

This episode went full Hallmark. If I had walked into a room where someone was watching this, I would swear it was a cheesy girl-meets-guy-drops-guy-then-shows-up-at-door-horny flick from the 90s. It even has the "She's All That" style of music. Please get better from here.

Stock is plummeting.

Warning: Spoilers
Show shifts to Beck's point of view a bit too much here and I'm not interested in a girly drama. It then switches back but repeats itself in the process. Leaving the room and messaging private crap to everyone's absurdly low character stuff, but nothing seems to bother this guy. Not that he's a saint or anything, but for all she knows, he is. Beck's cast in a weaker light by the episode, along with the quality of the show.

Beck is with her dad who not die and his new family. Beck sees Joe.

Later Beck finds Joe's place from the bearded guy at the bookstore and they have sex.
