Looking out the window at the Chrysler Building, it is snowing. Moments later out in the streets, it is not snowing and there is no evidence that it had been.
Although they were supposed to meet for dinner in the foyer at 7:00pm, the grandfather clock in the background behind Zeke shows 9:53pm when Kim comes down the stairs.
Kim tells Zeke that she was embarrassed to be paired with him as a writing partner because of 'the face plant earlier.'
But in the earlier scene that Kim is referring to, she slipped on ice and landed flat on her back in front of Zeke, not on her face.
Kim and Zeke handle roasted chestnuts straight off the grill using their bare hands. This is impossible, as the chestnuts would be far too hot and emitting steam, which would burn their hands.
Kim submits a manuscript that says it is 40,000 words long, which would be about 200 pages. But she wrote it in six hours and it is no more than 10 pages.
Kim gets an encouraging letter about her full-length novel on Christmas Day. But the manuscript was submitted in the middle of Christmas Eve.
