They must be out of ideas...

People who are saying this, to quote one of McEnroe "You cannot be serious?!". John E Douglas- actual ex FBI agent turned author, became very well known publicly about his help to capture the Atlanta Murderer. People need to brush up on what this shows actually based on before marking it down to 1/10.

Yes, they have fictionalised parts and slowed down the pace...If this doesn't suit you, go watch Power or Jack Ryan (Not that they're bad shows, just of different pacing). This is great character study of two fictionalised characters catching some very real murderers.

Great acting, dark and ominous feeling, excellent writing. My vote is 9/10.

Excellent!

I am disappointed with other reviews. In my opinion, season 2 was excellent, especially this episode! What a final scene and song at the end which perfectly fits...

A solid episode!

Warning: Spoilers
This Mindhunter episode has many factors. The F B I personal lives mixed with the investigation. Episode two mixes how Holden needs Bill who is more a people person, while Holden is pure analytical. The investigation has a mix of politics, red tape, jurisdictional difference and emotional condition of people during stress. Half of the investigation is dealing not with the actual investigation and the resistance of new investigation procedures of the B S U vs Old school methods! A more detailed episode of what goes on in a huge investigation. 8 stars.

Perhaps a Bit of Compacting Would Help

No more interviews, apparently. All the surveillance and all the efforts of a plethora of police officers at bridges. This has been slow moving but I don't mind. The subplot of the two women seems superfluous. All it does is impede the real plot. We've lost sight of the reason this show exists. That aside, I'm still interested in how this turns out. A lot to ask for a final episode.

Where is killer...

All that cigarets and nothing more... It's getting boring. They are out of money. Out of resources. Out of patience. Out of love... Just more dead body... Sadness. Dark... Or the truth comes finally?

Great except for the LGBTQIA+ plots.

One of the better more realistic crime dramas... With crimes that don't get solved in 40 minutes. The fact base of this series with real serial killers and case facts makes great viewing for the segment of viewers who enjoy the unfolding for the plots, especially when the end is already known. Great characters but for the LGBTQIA + plot with Torv's character. Frankly sick of it in every small screen production these days. Frankly the oversexed stories on TV these days is getting in the way of good story telling and plots.

Episode 208

Warning: Spoilers
We'll see if this is the actual criminal or not. It was anticlimactic, I get partially by design, but this season has just been all over the place. They really need a strong finale to save things.

Boring to the core.No wonder Netflix loosing subscribers
kushal_jinju20 August 2019
What a boring season. From intriguing intense conversations to stupid fillers, this is really a boring season. A documentary kind of a feel after 3-4 episodes and you finish the series only to finish what you started. Netflix better get their act together or Disney is gonna consume at one go.

Working on the night shift

A fairly good episode of mindhunter, though the focus has entirely shifted to solving the Atlanta murders and neglected the core storyline.

Sad to see that this fantastic show turns itself down by trying to get deeper to characters without manage keep the balance. Annoying, average acted stupidly writed soap opera. My god.

That was pretty good .the investigations become hard and all the struggle to find the guy who did all this . A pleasant investigations to watch .i enjoyed it .Bill have more and more problems with his son and need to deal with it. The boy's murders continue and we witnessed more childrens getting killed. And at the end, they may have catch the right killer that fit the description of Holden or maybe he is wrong ? We see also Wendy who faced another problem with her girlfriend and may be with that they will have some bigger problems.
