When David and Patrick acknowledge having been together for four months, Johnny decides to have a Rose family barbecue. Roland comes up with one of the worst grills ever seen. Alexis has received a text from Ted and goes to see him. There is another woman who is at the motel who gives her advice. David doesn't want Patrick to come to the barbecue, but when it happens he is there and things begin to go south.

BBQ With Patrick

Patrick has sent over a giant cookie celebrating their four months anniversary. The Rose family decides to have a BBQ.
Alexis comes into the lobby to talk to Stevie about her text from Ted. He called himself a bagel guy. A girl in the lobby is very nice and Alexis acquaints herself with the girl.
Roland's BBQ is an old and dirty small thing. He has to go to a birthing event and will not be attending, leaving Johnny fretting over the cooking.
Alexis goes to the vet clinic to see Ted who states he was supposed to send that text to Heather.
At the BBQ Alexis brings the girl and it turns out she was Patrick's ex-fiancee. The mini burgers and dishes look delicious.
David is upset that Patrick did not inform him and he ends up watching a movie for 3 hours, eating 6 sliders (burgers), and being depressed. Alexis has her phone in the bedroom and we see Ted has text back and her phone glows in the dark.
