It was a good movie and how the 9 years of old child living and the story line was too good.

The cinematography in "The Great Indian Road Movie" is nothing short of spectacular. Kapoor skillfully captures the breathtaking landscapes, from the arid deserts of Rajasthan to the lush greenery of Kerala. This was the another phenomenal cinema from south India. Acting , cinematography,direction & entire movie was just fantastic. A movie who brought a big darshan of incredible India which started from a 9 year old boy who won your heart when u exit from the theatre you will feel it was not just a cinema it was emotion as well as a moment. Entire movie based on travelling who almost cover entire Bharat varsh. It is truly a masterpiece wishing could have been give more Stars. In the end I must say if you think it is core typical Bollywood then you will definitely disappointed. It is a truly for true cinema lovers.

The camerawork, sound designs and production is pretty good. The main two leads who are focused throughout are pretty interesting as you watch their dynamics play out and how they interact with one another. Times where you see them showing genuine emotions felt nature. Unfortunately, the direction seems to kind of go all over the place halfway and certain moments felt like filler. As if the filmmaker wasn't sure how to continue certain scenes and added moments that could have been removed.

Many times the film reminded me All That Breathes which was also an India documentary. But the overall film was interesting.

I recommend to every one to watch this movie, This is the story of a nine year old blind boy who lives in the state of Kerala, his desire to see and to know the truth about his life. The boy's father with the help of some well-wishers arranges for a cornea transplantation surgery which brings life back to his eyes. Upon regaining vision the boy develops a wish, a wish to travel and explore the whole of India. The boy's father, though financially weak, sets upon this mammoth journey to fulfil his child dream. On this soul searching journey the boy is exposed to a kaleidoscope of people, cultures, languages, lifestyle and food. On another plane this pan Indian journey is the quest of the boy to unravel the truth, the truth about self. At the end of this karmic journey through Vedic lands the boy realises the truth.

The characters in the movie and cinematography and worth watch movie. So I had expectations that the film will be somewhat of a dud when I saw it. Many of the criticisms of the film are correct; it's a little derivative and quite a messy film - but that's part of it's charm. It's quite brave for an Australian film - it's noisy, colourful and never boring. It contains strong performances from Nathan Page, Ben Mendelsohn, Kylie Minogue and David Field; and a brilliant soundtrack of Australian artists covering classic Australian songs. The film's production design is excellent - it looks like a Gregg Araki film, and the editing and cinematography are relentlessly brash. It's imperative that people go and support films such as this - a low budget Aussie indie pic, because lack of support from critics and lack of distribution and publicity will mean that it remains unseen by the young adult demographic it is intended for. 'Sample People' (brilliant title) is as good as any film I have seen this year.

Awesome movie to watch for both the time passers and actual story likers.

Another point is the story was adapted from the Q&A fame (Slumdog Millionaire) Vikas Swarup's novel Six Suspects. The titular six suspects are a petty thief, a corrupt bureaucrat, a scheming politician, a tribal on a quest, a Bollywood actress with a vengeance and a tourist. The show has all these elements, and they are cast well with Ashutosh Rana, Raghubir Yadav, Paoli Dam, Shashank Arora essaying some of these characters. The number of suspects though as per my understanding is much less than 6. This seems to be counter intuitive as the screen is bombarded with new characters every few minutes till the first few episodes. However, some of these characters are sadly forgotten after a few episodes, while the others are discarded only to be called back later for some scenes in the latter episodes. Some of these include heavy weights like Sharib Hashmi, Vineet Kumar and Amey Wagh, which really is a pity.

A perfect example of how a movie is made . You can watch it with friend family and every one. It is great example of how a movie should be made I mean the screenplay,story,acting,timing everything is just great and enormous.
