This was a damn good episode; i maybe like Sarge(if he was less psycho) more than Coulson. That moment with Yoyo and Jaco was special. Fits got almost hugged to death, twice😂

Another Good Episode

Warning: Spoilers
This was overall a good epis... Holy s*** did May just kill Coulson?! That post credit scene was insane! Don't really know if they're gonna bring him back again but holy hell that was intense. But let's talk about the episode: almost everything was awesome except that cringy "- Are all the women on this planet that powerful? - Yeah" line. That scene with Quake quaking up some Shrike was awesome except the scene was too short, like there were hundreds of those bats flying around and she only destroyed like 20 of them? that scene should've been a little more longer at least. that kinda ruined the scene for me a little bit. And the stuff with Mack and Yoyo I think was very good, finally they're getting back together. Jaco's sacrifice was a little sad too cause I was hoping he would join the SHIELD like Mack and he's gonna be in the show for other seasons but still and awesome character rip. Overall was a very good episode as always but still not that much of a fantastic season. I still think the 4th season is the best season of the series but the last two season was very good so far, so still excited to see what they're gonna do with the last 4 episodes.

Fun!

Warning: Spoilers
I'm not the biggest fan of this season so far as I don't particularly care for the new dynamic (or maybe I'm still heartbroken over the death of Phillip Coulson) but it has had several decent episodes. The one a couple episodes back that focused on Fitz and Jenna will go down in history as one of my all-time favorites from any season. That being said, the last couple of episodes were very entertaining! A part of me still is hoping Coulson's soul will make a comeback somehow. Weirder things have happened. I absolutely loved that we had no idea who was bad or who was good or who to root for. One thing I do know, I love Jaco! I suck at reviews, so here are some thoughts as I watched the episode.

  • Snow may be crazy, but I actually felt bad for her. She's growing on me, whereas in the past I wanted a shrike to fly into her mouth just to shut her up. Butterflies are pretty.

  • Deke. Did the writers know when they introduced your character that you're going to become increasingly stupid as the months pass? Or is it the actor hamming it up? Either way, I don't hate it.

  • Oh, good. Let's make the two most annoying characters fall for each other. They'll be a hit everywhere.

  • May has done a complete personality change from the previous 5 seasons. I suppose it could be due to heartbreak, but still. I'm not crazy about how the writers are treating her.

  • It is awesome that Daisy was able to use her amazing powers to keep the bomb steady, but what kept Daisy steady as the semi barreled through the tower? Maybe she should have become a gymnast, that balance beam would've been nothing for her. Perhaps it's my jealousy talking. I can't even push down the legs of my recliner without falling face first into the TV.

  • Someone needs to invent that teleportation device and sell it. Like right now.

  • I love Jaco. I still think he can be turned. He seems to be a good dragon deep down. Pax is the character I never remember exists until he comes onto the screen.

  • Hey! Great thinking, Yo-Yo! I'm glad you turned him! Yay! Suck on that, Anti-Coulson!

  • Ah, and he shoots the first guy he sees on the ship. Classic Jaco. Hilarious. That was a laugh out loud moment.

  • Oh, boy. Splitting up is ALWAYS a fantastic idea. It's worked out so well for everyone in television history.

  • Another problem I have with this season are the epically DUMB decisions normally level-headed characters are making. Trying to keep two shrike-possessed civilians away from each other, so you capture them then incarcerate them TOGETHER? Fine. Chalk it up to the lack of sleep the night before. However, you shot your way through a group of minions, and bullets didn't phase them, so you thought those same guns that didn't work on second-tier goons were going to take out the leader? Okay then. Hope she doesn't use one of you as a meat suit. It's probably an actual Shrike that is in control and it will probably fly into one of their mouths and infiltrate earth that way.

  • That large group of blank stares and the humming of Queen Shrike was enough to creep me out. Well done.

  • Aww, handy Jaco. I like him too, Simmons. I hope he sticks around and becomes a series regular!

  • Aww, I liked Jaco. He will be missed. At least he will die a hero. Let's hope Izel didn't infect Davis and catch a ride to earth through him. I don't know why I'm assuming that's how she is traveling. I kind of hope it is. It's a cool storyline. Evil Shrike Queen jumps from body to body and no one knows who she's in. SHIELD will hate each other! Everyone will shoot everyone else except for the core 5!

  • I LOVE reunions! The scene with Fitz-Simmons reuniting with the rest of the team made me smile. That Bobo. Hands down my favorite character on AoS.

  • That party was very awkward. The heart-to-heart between Mack and Daisy was cute, though a little forced. Mack and Yo-Yo belong together. Finally do it, will you?

  • Speaking of Yo-Yo, we are talking about a team that has traveled from planet to planet and have traveled back and forth through time. Science isn't a problem for them. For the love of C3PO, can someone make Yo-Yo some realistic looking arms? I cringe every time I think she is about to pick something up. Forget drinking beer out of a bottle. Unless you make her shoot laser beams out of her fingertips, let the poor woman get some gadgety flesh-colored arms.

  • I also have a tendency to pass out at parties within the first five minutes, but something tells me Davis isn't usually like me. Dammit, did Izel hop a ride through him? I hope not. That would make Jaco's death pointless.

  • Aww, Not Coulson is going away. I'm still holding out hope that since he has a vessel, real Coulson will somehow make a comeback. This one is breathing and healthy! Come back, RC! Find a way, Fitz-Simmons!

  • 13 seconds. 13 seconds I had hope RC would find his way into his healthy breathing vessel. I find it difficult to believe May would commit murder, no matter how heinous the target. Which means that maybe Izel jumped into her.

I suck at predictions so I guess I will see how laughably wrong I am with the next episode. The writing team seems to have undergone a complete overhaul from previous seasons, but I think I can learn to enjoy it. Maybe I just hate change. This episode was enjoyable, I admit, even if I think that the storylines were much stronger in previous seasons. Casting is something AoS excels at, in my opinion. I love this show!

Almost forgot to breathe at one point!
noorea-8514713 July 2019
This episode starts out intense, calms down a bit then BAM! ends on even more intense stuff! made me grateful for the commercial breaks that allowed me to take a breath! I honestly couldn't tell what was going to happen next at any given moment. I loved the way the episode balanced action and character moments, we had some long awaited reunions that warmed my heart as well as jaw dropping action and special effects!

Jaw dropping

Didnt think the show could take common ideas and reinvent them. Surprising, comedic, action packed, and relieving

This show never fails to impress. From the comedy and dialogue acting and character interactions and action. Too much I liked to go over but 10/10 across the board.

Collision Course II
bobcobb30119 August 2019
Not sure why this needed a two part title as they could have just referred to these as separate episodes. The content was boring last time and is here too, which is the bigger concern for me.
