What happened to the established story of Alex?

Why would Alex be friends with Bryce after what he did to Hannah and Jessica? He literally went from "Screw Bryce!" in season 1 and season 2, to being friendly with him. Why? I get the whole story with him and the steroids, but it's just weird and defeats the purpose of the previous seasons.

Monty and that guy... of course it had to be toxic and destructive. Why? Why can't there be something nice and beautiful instead? To quote my previous reviews of this season "It's just stupid.".

I keep throwing crap at this season and I really don't want to, because I liked the two previous seasons of this show, but it's hard to avoid it when the writers seem to have taken inspiration from Riverdale. It's upsetting and annoying, however, I will continue to watch it because I want to know what happens in the episodes to come.

We don't care about Bryce

You can't devote a whole episode to Bryce's funeral and make characters talk about what a good friend he was.

Also, the Alex I know would never talk to Bryce again after what happened. Don't change characters please. I also have trouble with Ani, since she's a new character and pretends to know everything about everyone, but I can see why they would want to step away from Clay being the narrator.

Alex would never ever be associated with Bryce like this. WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH HIM? Or rather, what's wrong with the creators for thinking this was a good idea?!?! I wish this whole episode were Ani's dream!

This Episode begins with Alex, he sees that the police found new evidence during Bryce his case. Clay tells Justin that the police found drugs and fingerprints on Bryce's murder crime scene. Clay, Ani and Justin discovered that Bryce was dealing steroids at Liberty High School. Alex is using steroids, to grow his muscles faster. Montgomery kissed with Winston, he gave Monty head. Monty beats up Winston. Clay and Ani talk with Winston about the fight with Monty. Nora tells her father that Bryce got killed. Solid Episode of 13 Reasons Why Season 3, another Solid one. Just a Solid Season so far. But still missing the real exciting moments!

Where did he get the money?

How did Alex pull off the financial means to pay Bryce regularly for steroids, moreover when he started paying double and also for the hooker that he saw everyday for a week?

I love reading the reviews, people who watched Eps 1,2 & Finale and then pass judgment while missing EVERYTHING in between!!

I love reading all the blurbs about Bryce trying to get better, he really seemed to want to change, oh poor Bryce...sorry Gang, I'm old enough to know how hard it is for a young leopard to change its spots. I'm also immature enough to admit that I'm smug about it. ;P

After what Bryce did to that little boy, making him piss himself during a home invasion...?

Yeah. Sure. Total rehabilitation. Right.

So glad I'm watching the same show as everyone else. ???

Irritating Dialogue

Every single dialogue by Ani is so irritating and annoying. Its making it difficult for me to watch the series and this season is very slow. Ani would have been a good character but listening to the story from her especially with such irritating dialogue is taking all the fun out.

Another great episode. So much has happened in it. I liked Alex's story. I don't know if it was out if character. He was going through crisis. It is not like he is an adult who will always do the right thing. I also liked how the principal talked to Jessica about what activism can be wrong. Respect to this show, they don't support this nonsense. Fight for your causes but the right way!

Disappointing

I am just so annoyed that characters are doing things they'd never actually do. Alex would never hang out with the guy who raped the woman he loved. I also really dislike the narration by this new girl. She's too peppy and sarcastic. The first series really got me and now it's just about making messed up, nonsensical storylines that the writers seem to think are interesting. I liked this series because it was thought provoking and meaningful. That's been lost.

Ani's narrating

What I noticed and liked about this episode is when Ani speaks a few words about boys/men. She understands why it is hard to be a man. Men also struggle and have difficult times in life. The male is not as emotional as the female and they often hide their pain and struggle. It's not always about the woman and men can be victims too. I like that they show us that side of life too.

GREAT Episode

This was a great episode mainly about Alex and Bryce messing up stuff doing drugs was cool to see some fun with those two i was suppressed there was not much Tyler tho I was surprised by that because he is one of the most interesting characters in this season I absolutely hate Casey why is she making the decisions for Jessica protest and her group like what this a great episode Monty past stuff comes up a little bit with his father and him kissing a boy Monty has more story to tell sadly that does not happen really any further than this episode still a great episode.

First of all Alex is completely out of character. Why would he be in touch with Bryce again?! He raped his ex-girlfriend!!! And why does everybody say that he is just a sad skinny kid like that there is no chance for him to get girls. Even if you're not into guys you have to admit that Alex is hot af. And come on! He does have abs. And why the hell the series wants to tell us that girls are just into sporty guys. That's just bs!!!

Who's Melody Scott???

I really love these guest appearances by these old classic character actors.

But we have Benito Martinez who for me will always be Aceveda from The Shield as Sheriff Daughtry. Mark Pellegrino as the lackluster Deputy. Raymond Barry as the bedridden Mr. Chatham. Such great supporting actors really prop up a lot of the cast in this series who really aren't that great. Haha

-1 Star for the crazy amount of drug use. Man just 2 or 3 people in this school have more drugs than my whole high school population had in any given school year!!! Hahaha

Not a lot of love for this episode overall. 4/10
