Ani is insane. That's it. That's the review.

Warning: Spoilers
Mama bear to the rescue. I loved the fact that Clay's mom walked into that interrogation, saving him from saying something that he shouldn't have. It was quite powerful actually, and I love the fact that the cop was stunned by her.

Why does no one in the group ask their friends about what this is all about and save time in order talk about something else, it just drags on and on needlessly. I mean, they eventually ask each other what they want to know in the end anyway so why not just ask it immediately?

Damn, Justin said something to Ani that I have wanted to say to her since episode 1 of this season, and that just multiplied when I saw what her and Bryce did. I cringed every second of when Ani and Bryce got together, it was literally disgusting. She knew what he had done to multiple girls, and yet she did what she did. To quote that English mother in that viral video "Disgustang!".

Worst character on the show.

There are a number of problems with Ani. She's gotta be the dumbest character on this show. Naive, arrogant and know it all.

Love Triangle: Clay/Ani/Bryce
ZegMaarJus8 May 2024
Warning: Spoilers
This Episode begins with Clay, he sees footage of himself pointing a gun on Bryce. Clay and Ani are getting to know each other, they are both nerds at Liberty High School. Sheriff Diaz shows Clay Ani's underwear. Sheriff Diaz thinks that Ani had sex with Bryce, he tells this to Clay at the police station. Ani kissed Clay, but she was sorry about it a moment later. Ani kissed with Bryce, they have sex with each other afterwards. Bryce and Ani had sex several times. Solid Episode of 13 Reasons Why Season 3, just okay. Nothing really special about it. Hoping for some more exciting moments in the next Episodes!

Finally GAVE it to Ani
FrankHonest24 August 2019
At 29m 20s "you know what Ani... #*&$ off". Enough said. Best episode ever. That stupid, stalking, lying, two faced, arrogant, smug SoB gets put in her place by Justin AND Clay. Most satisfying scene. Watched it 10398483 times.

Reason for 10 is Justin telling ani to fk off
PDX_BRZ26 August 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Worst season by far. What were they thinking with the new character. She doesn't belong in this whole story. New girl comes in, gets nosy, and knows everything? Justin is the mvp, "Ani, fk off"

The Ani Show.
totallyhot785 December 2019
I swear Ani must have been on screen for 40 of the 45 minutes episode 7 ran for. I'm not blaming the actress who's just doing her job, but the writers must have been mentally ill to make a character who's totally new and has no background with any of the cast the focal point of the season. Ani is smug, annoying and loves to tell people what she thinks of them. Yet we're supposed to warm to her? Even Dylan Minnette, a decent actor, struggles to get over the fact he's supposed to have feelings for Ani. It just doesn't work. She's no more a part of the show in episode 13 than she was in episode 1. 13 Reasons Why must now hold some sort of record for shooting itself in the foot with this plot strategy. Surely Ani won't make it to season 4. They wouldn't dare, would they?!

Let's hope Ani won't make it to the next season

Bryce Walker, on multiple occasions, raped girls. He raped a girl, which ultimately led to her suicide. He raped another girl while she was intoxicated. He raped his girlfriend while she had passed out, and at the same times he posed so that his friends could take a photo. And then comes the braindead, Ani, blindly overlooking all he did, trying anything to redeem him as a person while at the same time she maniacally tries to find his murderer, randomly accusing even her best friend. Even Bryce's own mother is more unbiased than her. Ani's existence is an insult to rape victims. Cannot wait for Clay to dump her.

Shut up annoying people

Glad Justin told Ani off. Someone needs to tell that extremist activist chick off. This coming from a survivor. I'm on Jess' side.

here Are a Number of Problems with Clay Jensen (#3.7)
ComedyFan201029 August 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Very nice now with Clay being a suspect. The reason he is suspected is a pretty strong. This can't be denied. It was interesting how even his mom doesn't know what really to think. I kind of see the importance of Ani now. Not being here when all that happened it is way easier for her to see Bryce as an improved man who tries to become a better person and not a rapist he remained for others. Probably more people would like her if she was not introduced so nosy and annoying from the start investigating everyone we knew for 2 seasons already. Because of this I was all for Justin telling her to f off. The character I seriously dislike though is Casey. Well people who say they will never recover are the same ones who never do. And then they get all ugly with short hair and glasses and think they are feminists.

Love Bryce Walker from.
yasir61927 August 2019
Man, if you are going to watch this episode , i can certainly assure you that you are going to love Bryce Walker for the first time ever from season one, no matter how hard you try you will love this man because he has became a good person that your heart you will be melted for him and let me just taking about new stupid character Ani, she is such a stupid character i have ever seen, what a liar she is, she has consensual having s*x with Bryce Walk, wait what? yes she is pretty intending to having s*x with Bryce.

Clay's temper has just got more serious and he totally freaked out after what he just get to know real face of Ani. In the beginning Ani was just looking nice as new character and behaving as good friend but what she did, you are gonna hate her for her immature feeling for Clay but hard feelings for Bryce. Well i don't know why i loved this man, Bryce in this episode, i know he has done a lot of terrible things in past two seasons but the guy has changed, he hasn't have any bad intentions for Ani even she lives with her which what made me feel good for Bryce.

Another annoying episode due to botched storytelling
Havan_IronOak17 December 2020
I do like this show. I love the characters and the story-line for season 1 was amazing. Season two even managed to top it a bit in that it added details and dimensions that weren't in season1.

That said the creators/writers somewhat fumbled the ball with season 3. The audience knew the basic story for seasons 1 & 2 so some of the flashier story-telling techniques like flashbacks, fantasy sequences, and unreliable narrators just added depth to an already great tale. However with season 3 they've decided to adopt a mystery format and keep the outcome from us until the end. That's fine, but unreliable narrators, fantasy sequences, et.al. don't work as well in that style of storytelling. It just confuses the underlying story and someone who really likes the show ends up having to watch it two or three times to determine what's really part of the story-line and what is just an attempt at flashier story-telling. It's just annoying to those of us that really want to like the show but can't completely overlook the ineptitude with which the narrative is shared.

Warning: Spoilers
Another great episode back to back bother amazing episodes i really do appreciate clay and ani friendship and ani and Bryce friendship also ani see's a different of Bryce which is different that is why i no where near hate this season or even this show not even close Clay had to talk to the cops in this episode about when the cops think he shot Bryce and about Hannah's trial and why he cares for people he loves for and his friends but this episode I did like I hope the next one is great as this one this season so far has good pacing it depends who the cops are trying to get answers for depends because like tony was great because of his story and his character and how the story is told with emotion so all round amazing episode.
