It can be considered more a pass of time than something with depth, the stories of the characters are fast, flawed and without much complexity, making that at the end of the episodes the focus is really on the athletes' bodies than on their stories.

A fun anime series about girls playing beach volleyball

Haruka Ozora moves to live with her cousin Kanata Higa, and their grandmother, on Okinawa; here she discovers the sport of beach volleyball. Kanata had stopped playing some time before but starts playing again with Haruka. As the series progresses their skills improve and they ultimately end up in a competition to see if they can represent Okinawa in the National Championships... they will be up against some tough competition though.
One might be forgiven for thinking a series about beach volleyball would be pure fan service but surprisingly it isn't. Even though every episode features high school girls in bikinis almost the entire time it doesn't feel gratuitous as it takes the sport seriously. I don't know anything about the sport but it does look as if the creators studied it so the matches feel real. They are animated in a way that keeps things exciting; even in matches where we can guess the outcome it doesn't feel obvious while watching. The characters are likeable; there are rivalries but no real grudge matches. Overall I'd say this was a fun sports anime.

Then I saw the anime Harukana Receive then I am the second person to write a positive review because I loved this anime very much because I really liked the story, the animation and the characters but to me it also seemed a little strange that it didn't appearno male characters Well I'm fine with that too because a lot of anime treat males too badly and I'm glad this one doesn't do these things And I already know that this anime is only made to make children but this time it's a fan service done well this time is many moments withthe swimsuit can make those who want to see things like that happy and I'm happy that this time it's not the usual anime that only plays baseball or football to conclude rating 10.
