There are a bunch of enjoyable anecdotes shared in this 18-minute featurette on the making of "Female Trouble." Everyone remembers Divine as a good actor who always made people laugh and so trusted John Waters that he was willing to do anything Waters asked him to do. Susan Lowe admits that she loved hanging out with gay men back in the 1970's and reveals that her baby was used for the scene in which Dawn Davenport gives birth to her daughter Taffy. Mink Stole talks about how she totally embraced playing Taffy and saw the character as a neglected and misunderstood teenager. Moreover, we also learn that Waters wrote "Female Trouble" as a vehicle for Divine, various scenes were shot on streets without permits, Edith Massey had trouble with her dialogue, and the tacky production design was meant to be anti-artistic. Worth a watch for fans of the film.
