a non stop tension one

Warning: Spoilers
First, god bless bradford special. Second, i love tim in his i-don't-care-about-anything mode. Third, this ep really surprised me, because it had a lot of action and drama packed one. Yes, some things -the birth, the no-signal radios- were pretty unrealistic, i enjoyed watching it. Lucy shows that she is a badass (and i love her<3). This ep had me on the edge of my seat, and that rarely happens. This episode has become one of my favorites and one of the best of the season. Has a constant rush of emotions, perfectly made.

Also, if I watch a episode without pausing it, it means that it was a good one.

Trapped in the Building
claudio_carvalho17 October 2021
Lucy spends the night with Nolan and while she is having a shower, the brother of the criminal killed by Nolan invades his house and attacks Nolan that defends himself and subdues the man. Now he has to lie to Commander Percy West to protect Lucy. Meanwhile, Isabel is found in an alley with a shot in her head and Talia, Tim, Angela, Lucy and West are assigned to arrest the criminal Marcus Vance, who shot her, in the dangerous Bronson Building. Soon they learn that their radios and cellular are jammed by a system in the basement and they need to fight for their lives.

"Standoff" is another great episode of "The Rookie". The conclusion of "Time of Death" is another top-notch episode with intense shoot-outs. The internal conflict of Nolan is silly and moralist and the weaker part of the show. My vote is nine.

Title (Brazil): "Confronto" ("Confrontation")

a non stop tension one

Okay. First, god bless the bradford special. Second, tim in mode i-don't-care-about-anything is hot. Third, i didn't expect the tension and action that this ep holded. Yes, some things -the birth, the no-signal radio- were kinda unrealistic. But i think that the whole ep was a worthy of watch one; i dare to say one of the best -and my personal favorite- ones. I mean, i was on the edge of my seat all the time, and that rarely happens. Also, i have to say that the whole storyline with commander west and nolan's was so good to make to fully focused on the screen. Lucy proves one more time that she is a badass (love her<3).

And, if I watch a ep withouth pausing it, its def a good one.

Edge of my seat

Wow what an episode. This for me has to be the stand out episode of the first season so far. I rate it higher than episode 8 too. A stand off in a block of flats with a gang of gun toting criminals, no radio contact, bad guys closing in on the officers. Real edge of the seat stuff. What a fantastic episode!!

Riveting

Warning: Spoilers
A riveting and offeat segment in which Fillion's character is sidelined, taken off active duty for a while, so he serves for comic relief trying to provide custoer service at the station house as well as delivering human interest content, with his fellow cops taking over center stage for a tremendous standoff against a villain with a dozen armed men trapping them in an apartment building. The cops are there to save a pregnant woman from the abusive and homicidal bad guy who cares nothing about her but only for the unborn child she's carrying.

Former B-movie actor John Terlesky keeps the tension at maximum level during this life and death episode.

Entertaining but unbelievable

Warning: Spoilers
3 apartments and not one has a working landline? ( apparently, no one in the building has a working landline because nobody calls 911) Giving birth in a skin tight dress?

Hundreds of shots fired and only 2 or 3 hit their target at a distance of 10 to 15 feet ?

The Boy scout, (Nolan), wants to take back a meaningless lie and tell IA the meaningless truth that will get both him and Chen fired ? But at least he'll feel better.

I know I'm nit picking here because it is a fast paced , exciting episode.

Apparently I need six hundred characters at a mimimum to get this posted, so here's the rest.
