Anne Mill is an executive at a law firm. She stole 3 million dollars from the firm's clients, through unnecessary payments to another company, which she secretly owned. Shortly before her financial crimes are revealed, she decides to murder her husband and their two children. She rationalizes that she is protecting them from any repercussions from her crimes. When the murder case goes to trial, ADA Stone tries to "prove" than Anne is faking mental instability. Anne commits suicide shortly after the trial.
