Another Gem ! Hader is spectacular.

Bill Hader has absolutely showed that he is more than just a silly comedy actor. This show has so much going for it , and it centers around its great acting and writing. I really enjoyed this episode. It goes from Barry as the assassin to Barry as the aspiring actor so fluidly. It seems like it should be a mess but it all goes together spectacularly. This season has been amazing and rivals some of the best shows currently airing.

1. Barry finished training 2. Barry performs 3. Hank gets caught

Another great "aftermath" episode. Barry is surrounded by toxic, manipulative people who just want to use his killing skills such as Fuches and Hank. He decides to cut ties (again) with Fuches but this time, he fully realized that Fuches is truly nothing without him. It took him so long to see that but that's what the manipulated mind does. It's such a complex relationship between them because there certainly exists a sense of camaraderie and Fuches has had moments of weakness when he was manipulating him. But now he's going full revenge mode and looks for his leverage against Barry because that's what he needs to regain control over him.

Barry's bond with his trainee is eerie in a sense because while he's still actively trying to get out of violence, he has given a bunch of other a newfound sense of purpose for violence. It gets even more complicated for Barry as he is rewarded with praise for using his violent past as a process for acting. It seems like no matter what he tries, he can't separate himself from his past.

As always, loved the episode and I can't wait to see how this season folds!

The scene between Barry and Sally in the theater was way too intense, and I wonder what was involved in the rehearsals. Always great to see D'Arcy Carden, providing that necessary link with The Good Place.

Yeah, I get it.

Lmao. Great follow up to last weeks masterpiece of an episode. Glad we got to see NoHo Hank and the rest of the crew.

But that acting scene with Barry and Sally was some serious Emmy worthy performance. Hader demonstrated that he truly is an A+ grade actor.

Very happy with what this show has become

Barry is excellent, and the previous episode was my favorite episode of the show, perhaps of all time. I have been consistently surprised with the amazing writing, intense moments and incredible acting, this episode doesn't particularly stand out as a one of the greats but it's exactly what I want, hilarious, intense and just purely entertaining.

Always an enjoyable show; incredible emotions & acting! Anthony Carrigan is a great goofball in his scenes such a delightful actor to watch, not sure what to think of Stephen Roots' adventures.

Yeah, I get it.

Another awesome episode. Absolutely loved the scene with Barry and Sally reading the scene, and the way he was able to transition into his character after following Gene's advice sent chills down my spine. I felt like I was sitting in that acting class.

P.S. so thankful we got one more glimpse of Barry with that glorious bloodstache.

10/10 once again.

Came to this episode after finishing boring and disappointing GoT 8/4. Feels like a fresh breath of air. Funny and unexpected! Good acting and stunning story line!

An okay episode.

Now this is what Barry is all about. Ronny/Lilly was a great friggin episode, but it deviated from what made me love the show, it's characters. An episode being a whole mission was due, and that's what Ronny/Lilly was all about. Here we go back to the characters. Sally is trying to hold on to hope that she's going to nail whatever her next gig is. Cousineau accepts Barry's acting in this rendition of Sally's scene. I'm really wishing this show could get more action, since Barry's getting really caught up in the acting class. Guess I will just have to wait and see.

My Reaction / Review for Barry Season 2 Episode 6 ''The Truth Has a Ring to It'' (S2. E6): Episode 5 was great and I gave it a rating of 9/10. Let's see if this one is better or worse. Barry is right, Fuches betrayed him but also Fuches is right that Barry is in denial, Cousinaeu doesn't accept him, he accepts only... part of him, the things that Barry shared with him. So Barry's debt is no more? At least that's what NoHo is saying, I don't know if I believe him, im sure he will find something else. So no more Chechens? I hope not because I love them. What is Fuches doing in this forest, has he gone crazy? Searching for a car? Am is missing something? Does Fuches want to hurt Cousineau? Overall a great episode, my rating is 8/10.

Warning: Spoilers
Bill Hader is doing some good work, but Barry and Sally just don't have any chemistry whether specifically being done during their awkward scenes, or not on purpose during the real life quarrels. This isn't the relationship that I think producers think it is.
