I watched the 1st episode & it immediately hit home, myself being an escapee of an old communist regime, I can say it gave me goosebumps when I saw the show's host (Monty) being guided through those mountain trails, for I myself was helped by a very generous & most helpful stranger from a small town by the border, in the old Yougoslavia, I'll never forget the generosity & wonderful hospitality his family offered me, I was still a teenager mind you & I had to put my trust in these total strangers, I was imagining the worst, like being turned into the authorities. But to my surprise they drove me to the interstate bus stop. And that's how my journey started. Just watch the movie the great escape & you'll get a sense of what it feels like.
