The series goes a long way to explain why a trans person would choose to live in a Red state. Each subject has found community in a place where laws can often make life dangerous for them. Trans people who live in red states are often oppressed by their local government, but their very existence in these places are helping to change the demographic of red states. The act of existing is activism and that's a beautiful thing.

Trans in Trumpland is one of the best political and social commentary documentaries I have seen in 2021, perhaps even in my entire life. The series delves deep into the pressing social issues of our day, not just trans issues. It's a much watch for anyone looking to become more educated about trans issues and to really understand the past four years.

As a trans man, I really loved watching stories like mine in this series. Trans in Trumpland made me realize I'm not alone in my struggles. The Trump era was a tough one for my community, and I'm glad that films like Trans in Trumpland exist.
A must watch for everyone

I recently watched Trans in Trumpland (I'm a cis woman) and absolutely loved it. I was familiar with trans issues before, but definitely learned a lot from the stories presented in each episode. The biggest take away is the resiliency and strength of the trans community. Each subject and their story moved me and I will definitely remember them. The series is also well filmed and easy to watch. Captivating and moving.
