This episode of Dogs is almost artistic it's so beautiful. From the dog, his relationship with the father, the family, the food, the lake and the countryside. It's like heaven. I'm sure I'll watch this episode over and over again.

Deeply moving

A kind man helps his dog to sleep in a moment that looks like a magic trick.
We sense a deeper meaning in this moment in time, for a dog who is in his twilight...a much longer sleep awaits for him, as it does for each of us on this earth.
But just then, we are transported into something else entirely. Into a different time and place, ethereal and unreal. Now we are seeing through the dog's eyes, through his mind, and possibly through to his future. Deeply moving.

Prepare to be smitten by Ice as he traverses all things beautiful in the countryside around Bellagio and San Giovanni. He is such a dear part of the community and the restaurant family who lives the lake-to-table experience and faces head-on the challenges of a dwindling fish population and as well as that of running a legacy family restaurant. The patriarch truly loves his dog, his work and his family. But Ice is the star: stoic, sweet, playful and loving.

The golden retriever ease the loneliness and anxiety of the fisherman, and they comfort each other.
From the dog's view, he patrols and plays in the town or village, and welcomed by the neighborhood there.
I actually searched the place in Bing, ittiturismo mella. It is located north of Milan, near the north border of Italy. The water of the lake Como should come from the mountains about. Maybe the sharp decrease of fish results from Global Warming. More water coming down from the mountains makes the water in the lake less nutritious per unit. At the same time, the water temperature keeps rising. Those two factors may impact the food chain of the fish, making it hostile for their surviving.

This one is special

I watched this series when it first came out and every so often I feel this urge to come back and watch this episode again. The camera-work, the music, and Ice himself just make this one so special to me. It's so beautiful and when I need to cry I can always depend on this one.
