This is one of the best season 12 episodes. This has a great rating and i love how Spongebob is a good cartoon and still has hilarious moments and enjoyable humor ( the old Spongebob is better but like every cartoon ( im speaking about season 4-12 ) has meh episodes ). The critics said ( from ratings ), the new spongebob is very very bad, rating notes like 4,5 and 6 but no, Spongebob Squarepants is a good cartoon and always can be. When i watched Broken Alarm i was feeling a old episode. The invention with clocks and things was amazing. I give this episode a 10\10. In Karen's Baby i was feeling another way, saying is not the same thing as his sister episode. This one was not like a old episode. This was like a season 4 ( a season who has very good episodes, i ain't complaining ) episode because was very beautiful and funny at the same time. I find first one more intertesting because Spongebob and Patrick are in the main activity ( more Spongebob ) but this not means is not a entertaining episode. Karen's Baby has a lot of good parts and i want to submit the fact i cant compare it with season 6 ( a meh and good season ) episodes. 8\10. Go the good way Spongebob. Make new episodes like old ones and i'm ready for adventure!

Both episodes are equally fantastic and charming! Broken Alarm is more on the funny, and entertainment side of things while Karen's Baby is heartwarming and nostalgic. These are one of my favorite season 12 episodes. I highly rocomend them.

Wow! This episode of SpongeBob was funny for a change, instead of frightening, disturbing, or unsettling. How long has it been since that happened? This reminded me so much of the old episodes. Back when the jokes were actually clever, and the material didn't give off creepypasta vibes. I'm referring specifically to "Karen's Baby." I randomly came across it online. My first reaction was, how did Plankton make a computer pregnant??? So that made me curious. I had such a strong inclination to click on it, because I knew it was going to be off the wall, in a good way.
She orders a baby through the mail. When it came as a calculator wrapped in a blanket, at that point I was chuckling. When she told Plankton she was naming him Chip after her father - my chuckling turned into laughter. Then the baby cries, and she types in 4445. Plankton's like what does that mean. In response, she holds the baby calculator upside down, and when she does, it says "shhhh." That's when I lost it. We watch their baby progress, and the next scene shows him learning to walk - legs attached - with a diaper on. By that point I was just dying. I haven't laughed that hard in a while. It was so absurd. This used to be an outrageously funny show, and that episode captured the hilarity that I remember. Keep it up - if more of them are like that, I might consider buying the DVDs of the newer seasons!!
