JON HAMM IS NOW MY FAVOURITE ACTOR
lghedges13 April 2020
Hamm has just become my new favourite actor thanks to this episode of curb. He stole the show and absolutely nailed the part of Larry's shadow. I had to write this review just because of the impression Hamm left on me after viewing this episode. 8/10 for a curb episode but 10/10 for Jon Hamm.

Brilliant!

This is what happens when you get Curb + good actors. John Hamm as shadow Larry was just freaking genius. Larry at his best, even with a bleeding rectum. Sorry, gotta go!

Bold Statement: Best Episode Ever??
kvngrimes13 March 2020
Veteran Curb fan here, and I feel like I am spoiled, jaded, whatever else you wanna call it. Sometimes after watching a new episode of Curb, I ask myself why I like this show so much because a few episodes this season have been meh, repetitive. And then this episode comes and blows me away. I laughed harder than I have in possibly a year or two. By myself! Dying laughing. Jon Hamm, Cheryls Sister, JB Smoove, Gotta Go" business idea, freaking stupid funny! A slap in the face to wake me up and realize why I love the show so much, and why Curb continues to be the best comedy show on TV. Brilliant, and original. Larry David is freakin master and more hilariously rude & disgusting as ever. He is out of his mind and there will never be anyone like him, and that's why I love him.

The increase in Leon and Jeff's presence in the later part of the season has been lovely

Amazing, one of the few tv shows which get better as time goes on. This season is one of its bests and this episode adds to the list. It has become impossible to predict what's gonna happen next and the episodes keep getting better and better. I hope this show never ends

It isn't allowed to be this good

How can it be so fantastic?! It's getting better by the episode, when it already reached peak funny. Yet it continues to amaze and delight. My goodness, is there no end to funny and hilarious here? Larry is the best wine that miraculously turns into an even better wine without the Bordeaux faking. Tears of laughter, tears of joy! What comedy grandeur. One hasn't lived, if one hasn't seen this episode.

Jon Hamm is brilliant as Leib son of Nat. Of all the celebrity cameos this season, Jon Hamm takes the cake

Best episode ever

Warning: Spoilers
You have to watch it all to know the show, know the cast and of course know Larry. John Hamm nails this by pretending to be LD in an episode that is up there with 'soup nazi'. The story line is the usual bizarre thoughts behind a man where things that can go wrong do. From creating a pee app to sleeping with his ex wife's sister to having a bleeding rectum the whole 40 mins are laugh out loud.

Where these ideas come from only add to the mystery and impressiveness of the writing and acting. This is a show that shouldn't end. It's translates globally and enjoyed by all who watch.

Pretty, pretty good.

Finally an episode that actually made me laugh a lot. Still not the days of old, and these storylines are still so bad, but this episode was actually funny. It gave me hope that Larry has not completely lost his fastball.

This episode and the whole season is kinda bland.

Warning: Spoilers
Reading the reviews of this last season makes me think some people either aren't able to be real with themselves so they rather be in denial. That or they really don't have the capacity to differentiate what makes/made a great episode and what doesn't.

To even dare to claim the show is getting better is an insult to the show and to yourself.

This last season had some good bits, but overall it's stale and formulaic. Almost as if puppets are performing the same trick over and over. Larry is constantly doing the same thing, the other characters seems as if they are on Xanax all the time. Tired, generic botox filled faces and scarcely credible.

To love a show or a certain characteristic personality does not mean you have to lie about it... You can still love the show in its core and the previous seasons. Damn.. just ask yourself what would Larry David (or Leon) do? He would say this new season sucks, and the raving reviews are made by idiots.
