Another Good Show

Chen and West are advised by Sgt, Grey that they need to complete their checklist of crimes on the next two days to be eligible to the final exams and Tim and Angela try to help them. Meanwhile Talia is under investigation of the Internal Affair and Ben was attacked and his Ferrari was robbed by a gang. When Nolan has the chance to participate in the investigation with Detective Kevin Wolfe, he does not hesitate to join the search for the gang of car thieves.

"The Checklist" is another good show of "The Rookie". The clumsy Nolan is ready for the final exams while Chen and West seem to have a mission impossible. Entertaining and funny in the end. My vote is eight.

A good show, but where to go?

It started out a bit confused, IMHO, but soon the stories and the characters began to develop. I confess I'm a fan of Nathan Filian having enjoyed his strange relationship with Kate Beckett in the long running series Castle.

So where does this show go? After all, Nolan won't be a "rookie" forever, will he? At this point in the first season, Nolan is at the end of his "training" year as a rookie. Will he graduate and become a regular LA officer, whatever that is? I assume so, and maybe the last season episode will settle this question. Okay, assuming he does "graduate", or whatever it is called in rookiedom, to call him a rookie wouldn't be fair, would it?

That being said, what will next year's show be called? The Ex-Rookie, or maybe Nathan Fillion, LA Cop? Wait and see, as they say...

Unrealistic

He holds up his cell phone to the hostage as she's going into the bank "Can they hear us " She shakes her head no and he grabs her off to the side The criminals are sitting right there in the van The last shows are lacking in some actual policing especially the patrol officers Adam 12 was more realistic My wife is ready to quit and she's a big Nathan Fillion fan Get some police consultants, real cops, on the staff.
