A very nice journey.

I enjoyed this journey in New York: beautiful landscapes and nice encounters.

There are so many interestings aspects of New York: the Central Park created in 1873 with 340 hectares ( Meredith Bechtel and her Fits Tours, Ying and Kenn, the volunteer gardeners, Steve called Wildman who shows the edible plants of the park, the most famous film location in the American films): the roofs of New York (the wooden water cisterns, the greenhouse with the hydroponic culture of vegetables, the spaces for enjoying the sun), the oysters in New York (the oysters bars, the oyster farms at Green Port, Ariel Lauren Wilson and her investigation about oysters and the reintroduction of the oysters in the New York Bay), the 900 gyms of New York (the importance of the fitness, the yoga practice with goats, the Bollywood fitness), the Fulton fish market (Roberto Nunez, the fish buyerand David Samuels the fish seller), and Broadway and its musical comedies (the 21 years of "Chicago", Melissa Melendez studying at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, the worl of the costumers).

I enjoyed the encounters of Sophie with David Caporale ( the arrival at New York with the sailboat, the visit of Wall Street, the market of Union Square, the celebration of Thanksgiving Day with David's family and friends), with Debbie Mc KLain in Brooklyn (the guesthouse, the neighborhood with the typical houses), with Leigh Montville, the guide (the Highline, the Greenwich village and the helicopter flight over New York), with Marc Williamson the hatter (milliner) of the Flame Keepers Hat Club (the talk about the elegance and the Apollo Theater, the Red Rooster with the music), with Pierre Weber at Hampton Bays, the ride in the 2 CV Citroen, the walk of the beach and the flamebed lobster), with Arthur and John Ludlow , the cheese-makers of the Mecox Bay dairy, with Daisy and Bruce Cox in the jazz club and with Ken Bloom in Broadway (the restaurant with the singing waitress, the "Beautiful" spectacle with its artists and costumers.
