- Beginning of the journey in Jaipur: Raphaël meets Éléonore Gaspa ( Cycling Jaipur) and they begin a bike tour: they arrive in front of the Water Palace (Jal Mahal): then in streets they meet a lot of animals (the elephants, the sacred cows-the people feed these animals for their karma), later they arrive at a market and eat a kachori (fritter of lentils) and drink a "lassi".On the next day they take a hot air balloon to Amber (the former capital of the reign) and they visit the step-well of Amber: later they pay a visit to Radju , a guide and friend of Éléonore: the Radju's mother prepares "paratha" a flat bread made with potatoes and spices: they see the stable inside the house where the family breeds cows.After that Raphaël meets Shennaz Bano in front of the Palace of the Winds (Hawa Mahal with its 945 windows).In the streets they see decorations of the "Diwali" (feast of the Lights),: Jérôme buys a box of candies.Then they arrive at the mansion of the family: Ransher Singh, the husband of Shennaz receives Jérôme and shows him the mansion transformed into a guesthouse (18 rooms for visitors).On the morning Raphaël goes to the barber and later he is invited for the "Diwali" in the mansion of Rudra Pratap Diggy: the cousin of Rudra helps him to buy a traditional costume and Jérôme enjoys the "Diwali" celebration in the mansion of Rudra ( music and dances). On the next day Jérôme travels to the Ranthambore Nature Reserve where he meets Frédéric: the go to the fort of Ranthambore where they enjoy the panorama and later they visit the park to see Bengal tigers (a female and her 3 daughters): Frédéric speaks about the importance of the protection of the Bengal tigers (there are many poachers).After that Raphaël travels to Udaipur and spends a moment with the artist Rajeshi Soni : they enjoy the panorama of the City Palace and the Lake Palace : they drink a massala chai.Later Raphaël takes a boat to to the Lake Palace where he is received by Balraj Singh (the public relations director), they visit the palace with its inner courtyard and then Jérôme meets the chef Manish Joshy.Later Manish and Jérome take a boat and in the middle of the lake they have upper : black chicken in curry sauce and women dancing traditional dances. Besides we see zooms about the Taj Mahal near Agra (the official photographers, the inlaid marble miniatures), about the fashion in Rajasthan (Mr.Bikaner, the turban, the mustache club), about the Takhur nobles (their influence in the political life, the transformation of the fort into a hotel), about the Mayo College ( the education of the elites, the college for girls, the polo players), about the Raika nomad people, about Batheshwar (the 42 temples, the animal fair., the marwari horses and the horses exhibitions)—zutterjp48
