Unfortunately, this movie had nothing to keep me interested. There was no logic to the actions of the characters and they didn't develop. No theme was effectively developed either. I can't judge whether the actors did a good job, because the issues with script and directions were so huge. Some easy changes might have given the story a chance. If Leonard had shot the commander at the beginning, maybe the lunatic actions of Laurentz might have been driven by something. If the timeline had been a few days instead of one, or if Leonard would have had the chance to build up some determination, it might have been logical that the doctor pointed him out as the leader of the resistance. Maybe if there had been some planning involved in ambushing the Germans in the woods instead of setting it afire with one gesture - and then the fire went out by itself or something? - some tension would have been built up.
But alas, this time our sneak preview didn't turn out well. ;-)
