Finally hit off!
evgenycaruana5 October 2020
Really enjoyed this episode, finally things are starting to make sense. From the first two episodes things were kind of confusing. Thankfully this is not the case with this one!! Way to go!!

How did they pick such an awful actor?
dolev44448 October 2020
It's such a well written show, how come they gave the part of the italian brother to someone that bad? he's trying to play a psychopath but he is just awful at acting and awful at the part. shame.

Disappointing start to Season 4 - I hope it gets better!
Siddhartha147 October 2020
Love Chris Rock, but why not just film in KC where this actually takes place? Also, the amount of scatological humor is embarrassing for a series of this caliber. That's juvenile drivel. Fargo is one of my all-time favorite series so who fell off the cliff on the writing for Season 4?

Now We're Getting Somewhere!
Hitchcoc5 October 2020
The writers have taken a series of subplots and integrated them beautifully. The two significant factions are facing off. Of course, within the Italian group, there are really two factions. The brother, just over from Italy, looks very simply at things and that is extremely dangerous. Then there are those two female convicts and the Mormon who is after them as well as the undertaker and his family. Of course, the nutty nurse is moving through life, calling her own shots. She is the irresistible force. The scene in the car show she is about as psychotic as is possible. Can't wait for next week.

Genius!

I dont know why everyone is hating on this show. When the hell do you see this stuff on TV? The bank robbery scene was perfect. Noah Hawley is a showrunner for a reason. Give me season 5!

Where's Chris Rock
blucente5 October 2020
I am almost three hours into one of my favorite series and this season has been billed as a Chris Rock vehicle and I have seen about three minutes of Chris Rock so far.

A Turning Point?
landonvb16 October 2020
The first 2 episodes weren't great and were kind of disappointing. This episode feels like the show may have some kind of engagement for the rest of the series. The pace was a little quicker and the style was all still there. This has been my favorite episode so far out of this and the previous 2 episodes.

Episode 403
bobcobb30116 January 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Adding Timothy Olyphant's character to the mix should hopefully make things more interesting. He is different from his Justified character, but in some ways the same.

Much more of a step in the right direction.

Now THIS is television
jazwierzchowski-263495 October 2020
Tensions are mounting reallll quick! The subplots are interconnecting in unpredictable ways and I'm super invested in all the characters. Every scene in this episode featured great dialogue and the plot is really starting to ramp up. And the production this season has already set a new bar for all TV shows moving forward

Now this is getting to where fargo has been before
ha77y73ad9727 May 2021
Over the last 2 episodes we are given 2 great characters again in the Police that are looing into all of these subplots. 1 mole and 1 straight shooting Sherriff with both sides knowledge of the case is great to see the trade offs of trying to keep his head and also work the case as best as possible.

Wasn't sure that I was going to enjoy the sub-plot of of the family but with their aunts story coming to the forefront this could be a classic scene like the ending of the original movie and also the start of the series as a whole. And the nurses part is creating more havoc is great great to see. A botched hold up, a murder and a strange relationship with the don make her central to these stories that are going to be great.

With the gang land heads taking a bit of a back seat but still progressing the stories forward one on the slaughter houses and one on the attempted murder or potential murder i cannot wait to see where all of these stories snowball down into the depths of chaos and how eventually how these will all cross over.

3 great seasons, now this
dave998896 October 2020
Season 4 going nowhere. Is the whole purpose to put on characters who are supposedly interesting and quirky? They are in fact not. Gaetano Faddo- scary? Nope, buffoonish. Cute character names? Doctor Senator? That's the best they could do? The premises are weak and not being developed, not even sure what the plot or story line is as it just meanders. Too bad, was looking foward to to. If it doesn't get better will stop watching all together.

Timothy Olyphant for the win!
rmccabe-3969528 November 2020
The whole cast is amazing, and it keeps getting better and better! Putting Olyphant in a cowboy hat is always a win.

I am loving the style of this season and I love just seeing all the characters interact with each other. Heavy callbacks to season 2 and I love it!

A significant improvement
will-schwartz6 October 2020
The first two episodes of this season were cluttered with characters we had little incentive to rally behind besides a few standouts (i.e. Oraetta, Ethelrida, and Doctor Senator). Episode 3 is still slow going, but besides the sore thumb that is Salvatore Esposito as Gaetano Fadda, the cast has ample time to shine in the first episode of the season that puts the characters first. I can now happily say I'm interested to see where this season goes and what conflicts will arise.

Ben Whishaw as Rabbi Milligan was definitely tonight's standout, even though Jessie Buckley as Oraetta Mayflower probably has the best scene of the season thus far. More Raising Arizona than Fargo, but I'm along for the ride. This all being said I'd like to petition for there to be fewer fart gags. Two in three episodes is good, we get it.

I had to check if Tarantino was in the credits
Hazu297 October 2020
Great episode with multiple epic scenes. The storytelling is top notch, Tarantino style. In these times where is very difficult to get quality TV, just enjoy this great episode. I can't vouch for the rest of the season, I don't know if they're going to mess it up or not, I don't like woke stuff inside entertainment and I hope they don't pull a "watchmen" or "the boys" in this one too, but let's hope not. If they keep this quality going, hands down best show of the year. Cheers.

The Glory of the coming of the Lord....

Best cover of Battle Hymn of the Republic ever. Before this episode, not really a fan of that song. But now no way I can unhear it.

Total garbage
alexander-iv22 November 2020
The writing, the characters, the unrealistic interpretation of the 50s... the entire *PREMISE* -- abysmal!

Everything in this season is stupid, ridiculous and unbelievable.

When was Fargo ever about silliness and slapstick? The robbery scene with obnoxious farting and barfing, is so unbelievable that it's hard to imagine whoever wrote it to be of sound mind or sober even.

What goes on inside the head of Noah Hawley? What is going on inside the head(s) of the people who hired him? Questions that need to be answered for sure.

Fargo's name might be ruined forever by this season. The Coen brothers better get back behind the steering wheel for season 5, if there will be one, to set things straight.

Now this is capturing the essence of Fargo
ha77y73ad9727 May 2021
Seeing the investigation side of this series coming through is why we love this show. 1 Mole and 1 straight shooting Sherriff with both of their own reasons for steering the investigation in the way they need it to be completed. Theres always a reason for one of these characters coming into the series like this and there has to be a tie to all of the sub plots

I was honestly thinking that I wasn't going to enjoy the subplot if the family but after them exploring the story of the aunt this is going to be another one of the great twisting stories that will descend into chaos. With another scene of signature dark comedy coming in with the heist being thwarted by one pie. With a blood soaked heist gone wrong, a murder of an Italian don and a questionable relationship with the new don the nurses involvement in the series is just getting better and better with the sweet twang of Minnesota helping to enjoy all of the calamity that's going round in this series.

With the relationship of the crime families breaking down even more with a botched attempt on the son of Chris Rock and in fighting from the Italians with is great to keep seeing this progress further.

Overall this is where this series has to keep moving forward with icon scenes being etched into Fargo folk law like the Brief case being buried from the movie there can be multiple scenes that could be pulled from this series.

Mehh
ajiati19 October 2020
The casting is "off-base" this season. Chris Rock is type-casted as funny; a comedian, not a serious role, so it's tough for me to get past it to see him play this part. Jason Scheartman is not a bad actor but what were they thinking casting him as the boss? The creepy brother is far stronger. Perhaps they wanted the weaker to be "boss?"
