The highlight episode of S2 so far!
jester-4056426 December 2019
Most of S2 has been very average. Recycled plots and arcs from S1 but with REALLY cringe '2019' talking points.

THIS episode however, was pretty amazing. Every conversation between the characters felt real and authentic. I saw it was written by Kelli Breslin, so props to her. Hope she's a bigger contributor for S3.

Highlights were Forty, Joe & Calvin discussing dating apps, Gabe & Joe getting spiritual, Forty putting Love in her place re: 'Toxic Masculinity' and every scene with Joe & Delilah - especially the ending!

Lets hope the last 3 episodes are as good as this! :)

Warning: Spoilers
Love has a new lover named Milo. Joe goes on some dating apps. Joe goes on some speed dates but not with much success. Joe follows Milo while running in the park but he walks into Gabe, Love's pansexual friend. Joe breaks emotionally at a spiritual session with Gabe. Joe puked his celery juice over Delilah at his place. Love thinks that it's better to stay friends with Milo and not getting serious. Joe woke up after been puking over Delilah, they are eating some fast food together. Joe and Delilah come closer to each other and kissing on the streets. Joe has sex with Delilah in a alley but gets caught by the police. Milo gives Forty a slab. Delilah thinks that "Will" (Joe) has something to do with Hendy's murder. Love finally says Joe's real name to him. Delilah found Joe's secret glass cage, she found all the evidence. When Delilah wants to leave the box Joe arrives, Delilah knows to much. Delilah was beaten down and locked up in the glass cage. Again a solid episode of You Season 2 with the freaky Joe Goldberg who slowly is going crazy again.

What Does Live Do With All The Cakes

She's constantly baking. What's the point? Similar plot points to Season 1. They even admit that this is a Dexter ripoff but I like it anyway. I guess that's because I liked Dexter so much. Down to the main character self narrative it tries to be another Dexter. This season needs a killing soon.

You Season 2 Episode 7

Review : In reviewing this episode, I would like to say that this episode of this season is better than the previous few episodes. When, why, how, for what and what happened is not clearly explained in this episode. This episode includes a new character that turns the story of the episode a bit. While this is a very interesting thriller, the story is a little different from the injustice. Everything else about this episode is discussed below.

Acting : All the actors and actresses of this episode have performed well enough. All the actors and actresses have performed their work with skill.

Direction : The director has done a very good job, he has been successful in his work.

Story and Dialogue : Speaking of the story of this episode, it must be said that the story of this episode is good enough and of good quality writing. There are many confusing elements in the story of this episode which will force the viewers to watch the next episode. Extremely general dialogue has been used in this episode and good dialogue has been used.

Soundtrack and Background score : No sound was used in this episode. Good enough background scores have been used and the backgrounds are fairly consistent with each country.

Cinematography and Editing : Both photography and editing are good enough and appropriate in this case.

Other Departments : Lighting, set, location, makeup, sound designing, recording and vfx are good enough and commendable.

Overall Episode : Judging from all aspects and I relied on my own intelligence I gave this episode eight out of ten stars.

Thanks so much for reading my review.

Disappointed !
rajjindal-7292520 September 2020
I am giving this rating because now this show is totally about murdering people. There is no romantic scenes or chemistry between joe and love quinn. In first season there is chemistry between beck and joe until last episode. I think murdering beck is not the right step the creators did. I hope creators come up with some great story in season 3.

And so on...

Warning: Spoilers
This episode's quite crazy, moving in all different directions. It's not bad, could do without the flashbacks though. Delilah's like the LaGuerta of the show, but younger and likable. She just gets information passed through her and can't help but be inquisitive, putting herself in danger. Milo stepped into that one.

Joe/Delilah

Warning: Spoilers
Love has a new muscular boyfriend. Forty is jealous and tries to convince Joe to go on dates to make her jealous. Forty and another black employee suggest Flingr and tells him to be cautious of pictures. Too close up means she is fat and if it's a group photo she is insecure.

Joe follows the new boyfriend on a hike and the black friend sees him. The boyfriend says he can tell right away Joe is lying and takes him to his place for acupuncture. Joe starts crying and remembering childhood negligence and issues. He is told he just always was looking for someone to love and that to always tell himself he is enough. He doesn't need someone else to fill a void.

He starts juicing and Delilah comes over in a white and black polka dot top - her favourite. He vomits all over it and passes out.

Joe and Delilah get closer. She orders burgers and fries to get some calories in Joe and she asks him to go on a walk with her. They drink the whiskey that is covered in a paper bag and have sex in an alleyway. They are caught by police for indecent exposure.

They are taken to the police station and separated by gender cells. Fincher who works there says he cannot help. Joe calls Forty and gets them out without needing fingerprints.

Ellie is angry and tells Delilah she left her alone to go get laid?!

Delilah gets a call as she is lying on her couch from Fincher. He did a background check on Will and says he recognized him the night Henderson died because he threw out 600 dollars headphones. Joe works at a grocery store making 12 bucks an hour.

Delilah sneaks around Joe's apartment. She then goes into the garage and sees the glass box. She takes photos and tries to call Fincher. He doesn't pick up so she texts. Joe comes in and slams the garage shut. Delilah wakes up in the cage and Joe says he has to make some arrangements.
