Lord of the Flies (1990)
Underrated Masterpiece
I can't believe that this movie has recieved such bad reviews, and has only a 5.9 rating. And the fact that I am the only one to write about this film makes it truly underrated. When I first saw this movie when I was nine, I was blown away by it. it was the ultimate boy movie for me. The acting was very realistic. It was about a group of boarding school boys get shipwrecked on an island with no parental supervision. It showed us how truly savagely and animalistic we can become when their is absolutely no rules or restrictions. And how our survival insticts want to take over. The end was very touching and summed it all up, without any words being spoken.

I like the fish
The one reason that I purchased this video is for one of the skits in the show called Features on Film, I think its the most hilariously twisted skit I have ever seen. I don't think that I have ever laughed harder after hearing the foreign film maker pronounce his name to the host. The rest of the O Show is very funny also and I recommend it. If you liked Jim Carrey movies then you will like this Steve Oedekerk special. They are also friends by the way.
The Shawshank Redemption (1994)
Best Movie Ever
An inspirational and warm-hearted movie that almost put me to tears at the end. This is one of those rare movies that gets better and better the more times you watch it. The great lines in this movie just made it that much better. The friendship that was portrayed by the main characters Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman were totally convincing. It's such an involving movie that grabbed me from the start, and the great music didn't hurt either. Don't miss this powerful prison drama that shows that "hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things."
The Abyss (1989)
best sci-fi movie ever
I am talking about the Abyss: special edition. This movie has it all, great special effects, a love story, incredibly suspenseful and touching moments, and a great story. I experienced such emotions watching this, like no other science fiction movie has ever come close to doing. James Cameron is the master of film.

The Neverending Story (1984)
The most imaginative movie I have ever seen
I just love this movie, it was the one movie when I was a kid that inspired and opened my imagination up more than any other movie, partly because of all the unique characters and awesome visuals.
