Spy Game (2001)

Absolutely Fantastic
25 November 2001
This was a great movie. It was very refreshing to see an intelligent, well-made movie, especially considering some of the other films that are out. This is a very dense story, with many characters and plot-twists, so make sure you are ready to pay attention and GO SEE THIS IN A GOOD THEATER.

Very well done

A great movie, told from the interesting perspective of a restaurant kitchen. The acting is superb, the writing is great, and the picture is tight.

Surprisingly good.

Chronos (1985)
the most beautiful use of time-lapse photography
19 April 1999
This film is one of the most exquisite films I have ever seen. It is comprised completely of time-lapse and aerial photography, and is a tremendous accomplishment. Highly recommended for anyone interested in time-lapse photography, cinematography, or film making in general.

Brimstone (1998–1999)
Typical 'edgy' gen-X show
12 March 1999
I was hoping to find some substance in this show, but instead, all I found was an empty story that skillfully dodges anything resembling a plot. The look was interesting at first, but after about 15 minutes, I became entirely bored with the sloppy cinematography, and excessive 'dirt' (visible paint strokes on just about everything). So, if you're looking for a story full of holes, poor acting, bad cinematography, and an overall lack of quality, I highly recommend this show. Otherwise, I wouldn't watch it again if you paid me.

Should have been called "Very Bad Movie"
25 November 1998
This has got to be the worst movie I have ever seen. Worse than Ed or Mac & Me. The whole premise lacks even the slightest hint of intellgence. It screams of "we're catering to the typical violent, drug-loving, decadent generation, and can't make a real movie". Pathetic at best.

amazing 3D
8 October 1998
This being really the first full narrative IMAX film, I applaud the film-makers. The 3D aspect is taken advantage of. But unless it's viewed in 3D (which only certain theaters provide) a majority of the enjoyment will be lost.

Apt Pupil (1998)
powerful and disturbing
9 September 1998
This movie is a very moving and thought provoking film. It asks and answers the question 'How did the Nazis become who they were', and it answers it well. Through vivid, disturbing imagery and a strong storyline, the audience is shown the horrors of the Nazi regime and how power corrupts.

The Killing (1956)
The Greatest Crime Movie
11 August 1998
This noir thriller is absolutely flawless. Every last detail is poured over , and the storyline flows smoothly. The movie excretes generous portions of suspense from every scene. If you have any fingernails before watching the movie, they'll be gone by the end.
