Tenchi the Movie - Tenchi Muyo in Love (1996)

A Touching Storyline With An Action-Pack Twist

Twenty-six years ago, the Masaki family died out. A young teenage girl named Achika Masaki has disappeared, and in the near future, so did her son, Tenchi. Now, Tenchi, Ryoko, Ayeka, Sasami, Kiyone, and Mihoshi must travel back to 1970, to save not only Achika, but also their own lives as well. With the help of scientific genius, Washu, Tenchi and the gang will travel back in time to save the Masaki family from the evil and sinister Kain.

Intersting...isn't it?

The fist Tenchi film made, but the second I saw after seeing "Tenchi Forever!". I was more pleased with this one. It's filled with more twists and turns, and has more action...especially the battle against Kain.

Unlike "Tenchi Forever", this film is less dramatic and more comedy...which is what Tenchi is pretty much known for although the series itself has it's dramtic moments. Of course, this film has it's dramatic times as well as it goes towards the ending. And of course, the film ends with a sweet melody called "Alchemy of Love".

Also, the DVD version of this movie has more information than "Tenchi Forever!". :) I highly recommend it to Tenchi fans who have DVD players!!!! **grin**

Tenchi Muyo! (1992–2005)

Tenchi In Tokyo - Monster Busters

Tenchi Masaki is going to Tokyo for school, which saddens his friends, especially space pirate Ryoko and Juri Princess Ayeka (who are both known for tying to win Tenchi's love and affection). To make matters look brighter, scientific genius Washu creates a Dimension that can take anyone from the Masaki home to Tenchi's flat in Tokyo. Yet Tenchi seems like he wants nothing to do with any of them, especially Ryoko and Ayeka. In Tokyo, Tenchi becomes smitten with a young girl named Sakuya. Of course, this greatly provokes aggressive fury from both Ryoko and Ayeka. Mysertiously, however, as Tenchi and Sakuya become closer, Ryoko, Ayeka, Sasami, Kiyone, Mihoshi, and Washu are growing further apart from each other. This once-close-knit family friendship is dying...and now there's another even greater mystery...and her name is Yugi.

"Tenchi In Tokyo", like the other two series, is funny and has witty humor in it. Not to mention, a few cat fights between Ryoko and Ayeka, although in episodes like "The Eternal Pledge", the two team up with each other to rescue Tenchi from odd creatures. Then of course, there is Kiyone and her ditzy sidekick, Mihoshi, who still gets poor Kiyone caught up in a web of disaster.

However, "Tenchi In Tokyo" lacks what the other series has featured and totally turned the whole idea plot around. For one, when did Washu and Ryoko end up being a team in the beginning? In "Tenchi Universe", Ryoko landed on Earth alone, and Washu didn't come until after a few more episodes. Then of course, there's Ryo-Oki...in this series, he was with Sasami and Ayeka. In "Universe" he came after Ryoko teased Tenchi about being pregnant with Tenchi's child after come into the kitchen with Ryo-Oki's egg. Then finally, there's Ayeka and Sasami. In this series, Sasami was with Ayeka when she came to Earth, yet in "Universe", Ayeka came to Earth alone. Sasami came later looking for Ayeka. Same goes for Mihoshi and Kiyone.

So, the whole entire plot has changed almost in "Tenchi In Tokyo" which kind of ruined the whole entire "Tenchi" saga. Then there is the animation - not quite as sharp as it is in "Universe" and in "Muyo!" if you ask me. Also, it lacks feelings more. Like in "Universe" for example with the final episode, it finally reflected Tenchi's true feelings for both Ayeka and Ryoko, though his feelings for Ryoko seems more touching than Ayeka's. Not to mention, it shows even more in the "Zero" episodes from "Muyo!". "Tenchi In Tokyo" is more comedy than serious which is good...and their episodes aren't as emotionally tear-jerking like a few they have in the other two series (i.e. "There's No Need For Memories" or "There's No Need For Ghosts" from "Tenchi Universe").

I do like "Tenchi In Tokyo", and I can do without Sakuya 100% - who is perhaps the most annoying character to ever happen to Tenchi - besides Haruna, but thank God Haruna's just from a movie. "Tenchi In Tokyo" isn't as impressive as "Universe" and "Muyo!", but it'll do for "Tenchi" fans. At least, they didn't leave out the humor and action and excitement it always has been known for! :)

Tenchi Muyo! (1992–2005)

No Need For Bad Reviews! :)

Tenchi Masaki is your average school boy who lives with his grandfather, who is a Shinto Priest, and his father. His mom died when he was a young boy, and his grandfather is teaching him how to be like him. One day, something falls from the sky and arrives on Earth. It's the infamous Space Pirate, Ryoko. Once Ryoko is welcome into the Masaki home, she finds herself in love with Tenchi. Soon, other girls from outer space joins in the fun...taking Tenchi on the ride of his life!

Besides Ryoko, Tenchi is joined by:

Ayeka - the crown princess of Juri who also finds herself attached to Tenchi and will do anything to win his heart away from Ryoko. Of course because of this, she and Ryoko are always getting into cat fights! :)

Sasami - Ayeka's little sister, who is also a princess. She is the youngest, yet she finds herself being the nurturer of the household - doing all the house work and even cooking delicious meals for everyone.

Ryo-Oki - a cabbit (a rabbit who "meows" like a kitty cat, but LOVES carrots), who is the Masaki pet, but also Ryoko's space ship. Ryo-Oki also found a friend in Sasami, and a boyfriend in Nagi's cabbit (forgot his name!!!).

Washu - the scientist who invents some of the worlds most craziest (i.e. Meca-Washu, who ended up being like Mihoshi) and sometimes dangerous invention (i.e. a device that could destroy an entire planet from the last episode "No Need For A Conclusion"). She is also said to be Ryoko's creator.

Kiyone - Galaxy Policewoman, who finds herself caught in a web of disaster thanks to her partner, Mihoshi.

Mihoshi - Kiyone's partner, who seems to have an IQ of a bag of dirt and is always saved by pure luck. It took her quite a few episodes to finally figure out that Ryo-Oki was a girl. Not to mention, she is the reason why Meca-Washu was a bust.

"Tenchi Universe" is the best of series I think. Plus, it has everything from lots of lots of laughs, a bit of emotional tear jerking like when audiences learn about Tenchi's mom's death ("No Need For Memories"), and of course, love ("No Need For Ryoko" and "No Need For Conclusion"). Then again...there are a few things that Japan has that America doesn't - nudity when the girls are bathing in the bath house, a bit more shed of blood, etc. Of course this is forbidden to be shown since it's on Cartoon Networks "Toonami" hours, and America treats this stuff as the ultimate taboo!

As for Tenchi's feelings for Ryoko and Ayeka...I personally think that Ryoko has truly won his heart. You can tell by the way Tenchi looks at her in the last couple of episodes, espeically when she embraces him in a forest of Cherry Blossom trees, and they walk close together holding hands with little cabbit, Ryo-Oki, following. Also when she does all she can to rescue Tenchi, who was tied up in a coffin, from her arch-rival, bounty hunter, Nagi.

An enjoyable series FOR ALL ANIME FANS...especially best when you watch it in Japanese - thanks to the magic of DVD!!! :) No need for bad reviews here - "Tenchi Universe" is a true delight!!! :)

Sailor Moon (1992–1997)

Delightful Like A Beautiful Dream

One day during a Solar Eclipse in Tokyo, the Dead Moon Circus has arrived, searching for the holder of Pegasus, the protector of beautiful dreams of people, so they can get a hold of the Golden Crystal to turn the world into pure darkness. Little does she know, young Rini - better known as the daughter of Neo-Queen Serenity - is the holder. Later, she and Pegasus form a strong bond and become the best of friends. Yet no one knows, especially Serena, Darien, and their friends. What Rini doesn't realize is that she is in grave danger, for the Dead Moon Circus leaders, Queen Helena and Zirconia, has sent out Tiger's Eye, Fish Eye, and Hawke's Eye - also known as the Amazon Trio - and the Amazoness Quartet - JunJun, ParaPara, CereCere, and VesVes - to search for the holder of Pegasus and the Golden Mirror. And it's up to the Sailor Scouts and Tuxedo Mask to protect the citizens of Tokyo from the Dead Moon Circus's evil plans.

Before I watched this, I lost in touch with watching Sailor Moon, because before I watched this, I had NO IDEA who Rini was until I read the comic books, learning that she was the daughter of Neo Queen Serenity, who is Sailor Moon's future self.

Yet I found this different than the old Sailor Moon I used to watch. It shows the more emotional side of each character, and highly shows the strong friction between Pegasus and Rini, and not to mention, Serena's jealousy if her boyfriend, Darien, is talking to another girl (kind of sounds like one of my friends! - ha ha!!!). I personally also think that the art work is A LOT better, and humour is even more witty and amusing!!! :)

But anyhow...what I found more interesting is that Sailor Moon Supers is more amusing than the regular series I used to know and love. And it features a few issues that can be seen through the eyes of an adult rather than a child.

Well of course, there are other features in Japan that aren't featured in America such as homosexuality. Take Fish Eye for an example. In America, Fish Eye is the only female of the Amazon Trio. However, according to one website that I was surfing, Miss Fish Eye is actually a homosexual male and a transvestite. Plus, you don't see Serena and Darien kissing a lot, but only in two episodes. Plus, in the comic books, you catch Serena and Darien kissing a lot, but also sharing their love together in bed if you know what I mean! On the other hand, these things are forbidden for Sailor Moon's more younger audience!!! :)

"Sailor Moon Supers" expresses a lot of touching emotions and episodes..and not to mention, it features lots of laughs that will keep Sailor Moon fans entertained!!! :)

Tenchi Forever!: The Movie (1999)

Tenchi takes a walk in the mountains after Ayeka and Ryoko get into a bitter fight. Mysteriously, however, he all of the sudden disappears. After months of searching everywhere for Tenchi, Ayeka and Ryoko come to Tokyo, and spot him. Only he's older, he has no idea who Ayeka and Ryoko are, and he is with another girl - her name is Haruna. Haruna has provide a soft, comforting, and loving home for Tenchi, yet it distracts him from his memory, which irritates Ayeka, Ryoko, and his friends. Yet Haruna has a mysterious past connection with Tenchi's grandfather, Katsuhito. And what does she want with Tenchi? With the help of scientific genius, Washu, Galaxy Policewomen, Kiyone and Mihoshi, Juri's younger princess, Sasami, and Tenchi's own grandfather, Ryoko and Ayeka must rescue Tenchi from Haruna's manipulative and evil grip before they lose him forever!

Overall, this movie is a far cry from the television series I watch. Not only is it more serious than the television series, but also it includes what America doesn't let you watch - full frontal nudity, sexual situations, etc. etc. Also, Ryoko and Ayeka are actually getting along instead of fighting like they always do in the show, and Mihoshi, the airhead, wasn't being much of a ditz - well, except for one part when she yelled out how realistic the fake Science Academy ID car was! :)

Yet the movie also features different information than the tv series. For ONE, since each Jurian has a tree, like Haruna's Camelia tree, how come Jurian princesses, Ayeka and Sasami, don't have their own trees?

Besides that, I thought the movie was quite good, even though Haruna is the most ANNOYING character in the whole film, especially when Ryoko was trying to get Tenchi back and speaking for Tenchi, instead of letting him speak for himself. She perhaps is even more agrivating than Sakuya (from "Tenchi In Tokyo")! :P Besides the fact how annoying Haruna was, this was a great movie - a must have for all "Tenchi" fans!!! :)

That Night in Rio (1941)

Another Funny and Musical Work From the 40's

During a nice night out with his wife, Cecilia (Alice Faye), Baron Manuel Duarte (Don Ameche) watches a performance by entertainer, Larry Martin (also played by Don Ameche), who impersonates him...and he does it very well. Impressed by the performance, the baron goes backstage to meet the young actor. Little does the baron know that the actor chats with is wife. When the baron is missing for work, his associates hire Larry to impersonate the baron (and has no idea what he's doing either). And the rest is history.

A comical 1940's film this is, also starring the one and only Carmen Miranda, who plays Larry's hot-tempered girlfriend, Carmen, who of course is also a singer at the club where Larry performs.

What I love about the old films from the 1940's is the old fashion Hollywood glamour with the fancy dresses and evening gowns, etc., and not to mention, the fine jewelry the women wear (i.e. the baronesses anniversary gift from her husband). But it's a far cry from what you see today: Lack of long term kissing, sex, violence, and of course, swearing. Lots of music and ditsy characters.

I found "That Night In Rio" quite delightful when I watched it on AMC. It was bubbly with a lot of really lighthearted music and comedy, and sophisticated fashions worn by Carmen Miranda and Alice Faye. I got a kick out of Carmen's hot-tempered character, who kept on throwing her shoes at Larry when he made her angry. Not to mention, Don Ameche was a brilliant actor who could play two different characters quite well, and can compare each of them onscreen. :)

Good film...enjoyable for anyone who likes old movies! :)

A Diva's Christmas Carol (2000 TV Movie)

Another Delightful Remake of the Charles Dickens Classic - DIVA STYLE!!!

Ebony (Scrooge) (Vanessa L. Williams) is one of the world's most successful and popular female pop stars in the world. In a glamorous, luxurious world of fame and fortune, Ebony lives up to the title of "diva". Her too-hot-to-handle, fiery temper, and nasty attitude makes her band and manager feel bitter about her. Only a few days before Christmas, Ebony decides to put on a concert to raise money for the homeless, but her band and her manager are anything but excited. On Christmas Eve, Ebony is visited by the dead spirit of her former singing partner, Marli Jacob (Rozanda "Chilli" Thomas of TLC), who tells her that she will be visited by "three spirits". Little does Ebony know, that these "three spirits" will do anything to turn Ebony from nasty to nice.

Yep...same concept as the original by Charles Dickens of course. But I really don't know what it was about this movie that really captured my attention. I mean, I've seen A LOT of remakes of "A Christmas Carol" from "Disney's Christmas Carol" to "A Muppet's Christmas Carol" and the one with Patrick Stewart who played Ebenezer Scrooge.

Perhaps, "A Christmas Carol" is afterall a timeless classic story about a cold-hearted Englishman who gets a second chance in life. It's a touching story that kind of proves that even nasty and mean people have feelings and are surprisingly ....nice.

In this case, we have a modern-day "diva" starring song bird singing sensation Vanessa L. Williams ("Save the Best For Last", "Colors of the Wind"), playing one nasty woman. Like the original "Christmas Carol", Ebony (like Ebenezer) is wealthy, cold-hearted, and doesn't care about Christmas. Her manager is surprising named Bob Cratchett (played by Brian McNamira), and is also an ex-boyfriend of hers. Also, like the original character, Bob has a sick little boy named Tim (deleting the "tiny" part). Then of course, you have the three spirits:

Ghost of Christmas Past - played by Kathy Griffin -- who adds a bit of spark and humor in the movie and to her character.

Ghost of Christmas Present - played by former Duran Duran bassist, John Taylor -- whose version of the Ghost of Christmas Present makes his appearance the same way as the original, only the yummy Christmas food is replaced with groupies and booze. :)

Ghost of Christmas Future - which is supposedly the big surprise of the show.

So, put this all together, and here you have "A Diva's Christmas Carol". Apart from the amusement of the music bussiness and the stereotypes of female pop singers and rock stars, "A Diva's Christmas Carol" is like the original "Christmas Carol"....giving a single soul a second chance. But one things for sure, that this holiday tale still is very heartwarming....and not to mention, this modern day version of the Dicken's classic is very heartwarming.

There are emotional parts in the film (i.e. Ebony's journey with Kathy Griffin's Ghost of Christmas Past -- you'll see what I mean), a few funny and amusing parts (John Taylor's Ghost of Christmas Present and how he drags Ebony around NYC faster than a ray of light), and of course, lots of really great Christmas songs ("Heart of Christmas" and an up-beat, pop version of "Sleigh Ride").

I really enjoyed "A Diva's Christmas Carol". One of the greatest remakes of "A Christmas Carol" has been made and seen on VH1 during the holiday season!!! It may not be amusing to EVERYONE, but for those who just can't get enough of this classic holiday tale is will love it!!! :) I know I did!!! :D

Final Fantasy VIII (1999 Video Game)

A Convincing Tale About Courage, Trust, Friendship, and Love

Squall Leonhart, a courageous young man, who gets his training skills at the Balamb Garden. Because of his lack of trust in anyone, Squall isolates himself from everyone in the Garden. His excellent fighting skills soon makes him a SeeD, an organization who goes against the sorceress, who soon comes into the picture and tries to destory and take over the world. Now it's up to Squall and his new friends to try to stop the sorceress from destroying the world. Yet that's not all - soon Squall learns the meaning of true friendship and surprisingly - LOVE. And who is Laguna Loire and Ellone?

Joining Squall in his great adventure are:

- Quistis Trepe - the SeeD instructor who, like Squall, suffers from loneliness, and becomes an older-sister figure to Squall and the other SeeDs

- Zell Dincht - a fun-loving SeeD who loves wild and risky adventures, and is one of the best fighters in the Balamb Garden.

- Selphie Tilmitt - a SeeD with a cheerful, spunky, and bouyant attitude who also has great fighting skills like Squall and Zell.

- Irvine Kinneas - a ladies man originally from Galabia Garden (Balamb Garden's rival Garden), and sharpshooter who soon has a thing for Selphie, yet secretly has a sensitive and caring nature.

- Rinoa Heartilly - the princess of the Timber Owls, an anti-government orginazation who calls for the Seeds for help, who at first had a brief fling with Balamb Garden bully, Seifer Almasy, but soon falls helplessly in love with Seifer's arch rival, Squall.

All I can say about this game is "WOW!"

Can you believe the life-like graphics and animation on this game? Some say that "Final Fantasy VIII" is the weakest of the sagas (because of it's storyline), but I loved the storyline! The storyline is mostly, I think, based on life...explaining how a gifted lonewolf like Squall could learn to open up to his friends and the girl of his dreams especially. This story a long life lesson for all loners who feel isolated, and Squall's personality is an important part in the story and how his attitude changes, is even more important.

As you read the dialogue, you can easily see what each of the characters are feeling...whether it's love (i.e. Squall and Rinoa), fear, courage, hopefulness (i.e. Zell and Quistis), sorrow, or happiness (i.e. Irvine and Selphie).

Not to mention, the dialogue can also be pretty hilarious. Seifer's comment on Zell and Squall for example:

"This is great! I have a chicken-wuss and a guy who just reached puberty in my squad!"

"Final Fantasy VIII" is the first FF game I ever played, but on the other hand, it's very easy to. A LOT easier than "Final Fantasy VII". I even beat the Omega Weapon, which is the toughest monster on the game. Plus, the plot and storyline isn't as difficult as the 7th.

Final Fantasy VIII has the best animation and kind of crosses over into new technology for video games and even Japanese Animation! :)

TIPS: **Squall and Zell are the strongest fighters in the game** and **Squall, Zell, and Rinoa have the best limit breaks** And DON'T FORGET to get **AURA** magic, and DO NOT spend it all in one battle - or you'll be SORRY!!!!

Never Been Kissed (1999)

Josie's Second Time Around

Josie Gellar (Drew Barrymore) had a painful high school experience. She was branded the name everyone in high school tries to avoid: Class LOSER! Now out of high school and a journalist for Chicago paper, Josie is assigned to go to high school and investigate modern teenagers of the 1990's. Josie is all excited until her brother, Rob (David Arquette), brings her back down to Memory Lane. Even Josie's second time around in modern day high school isn't any better...in fact it's just as bad. Josie makes friends with school nerd, Aldys (Leelee Sobieski), and is a special member of the Calculus Team (Oh...how fun!). Yet her boss wants Josie to hang out with the popular crowd, the crowd that will do anything to avoid "losers" like Josie. That is until Rob, who was Mr. Popularity during his high school days) comes to the rescue, helping Josie's challenge into a superb triumph. Yet Josie's biggest challenge was always love. During her high school days, Josie set eyes on Billy Prince (Denny Kirkwood), the most popular guy in school, who of course totally ditched her. Now, Josie has her eyes on her English teacher, the ever gorgeous Sam Coulson (Michael Vartan), and this time, Mr. Popular Guy Perkins (Jeremy Jordan) has his eyes on her. Yet neither of them knows her secret, and only one of them will be the lucky guy to present Josie with her first kiss ever.

Sad story almost...isn't it? Okay.

I thought this movie has a lot of strong points that Drew's character, Josie, points out, and I think that a lot of the school outcasts could relate to how Josie feels between peer pressure and trying to fit in. Of course, as I watched this movie, there were only two things I thought:

1.) "This movie has a lot of strong points about being yourself and not caring what others think no matter how bad they are!"

2.) "Well, it sucks to be class loser! Glad I wasn't class loser during my high school days!"

But anyway, this movie's both good and great (in a minor way). Good because it's full of laughs and it's bright and colorful. And great because I'm sure that a lot of girls and guys who feel like an outcast can relate to Josie! :) I really think this is one of Drew's best career moves, though I think that the film has a few weak points!

For one, the prom looks more like a costume party than a prom ("I'm disco Barbie!"), and of course..the party. YOU CALL THAT A PARTY? Where were all the drunken people?! *lol*

Oh well!!! Great movie though! :) **CHEERS to Drew and the whole cast!!!**

Inventing the Abbotts (1997)

Not My Cup of Tea, but (Still) Okay.

Meet Lloyd and Joan Abbott (Will Patton and Barbara Williams), the wealthiest in the neighborhood. Then there is the Holt brothers, Doug and Jacey (Joaquin Phoenix and Billy Crudup), whose bank accounts could never match the Abbotts'. Unfortunately for Lloyd and Joan, Doug and Jacey have set eyes on the Abbott sisters - Alice (Joanna Going),the good sister, Eleanor (Jennifer Connelly), the bad sister, and Pamela (Liv Tyler), the youngest. While Jacey tries to seduce both Eleanor and Alice, Doug forms a faithful, friendship with little sister, Pamela. Yet what the Holt brother's do not know is the true reason why Lloyd wants nothing to do with them - and involves their beloved mother (Kathy Baker).

First and foremost, this movie takes place in the 1950's and pretty much extends into later years as you watch Alice's almost-perfect marriage fall apart, Jacey's greed for wealth blossom until he soon tries to seduce all three of the Abbott sisters - especially Eleanor, and of course, on the lighter side, watching both Pamela Abbott and Doug Holt's relationship grow more mature.

I found "Inventing..." a bit boring, and it's not a movie I'd be overly excited to watch again, but there are a few good parts that I enjoyed watching. The 1950's fashions and settings were really interesting to see, and I must admit that Joanna Going and Jennifer Connelly - who sort of look like each other (and could pass for sisters) - have that classic 1950's/1960's look with the full red lips, snow white skin, and dark color hair. Of course, Jennifer Connelly has also starred in 1930's/40's/50's etc. based films such as "The Rocketeer" (Jenny Blake), "Mulholland Falls" (Allison Pond).

Oh and one more thing...the Holt's mother's secret with the Abbotts is NOTHING that exciting either. When you find it out, it's like, "God! Isn't that the way it usually is with most movies?!" or as I thought, "I watched this whole movie and that's what the secret was?! Geez!"

But for anyone who likes these simple movies, I recommend it. Otherwise, it's also a good movie to fall asleep to.

The Exorcist (1973)

Interesting Plot...Interesting Film! :)

(Fictional) Actress and single-mother, Chris MacNeil (Ellen Burstyn), loves her daughter, Regan (Linda Blair), more than life itself. Yet mysteriously, young Regan becomes "sick". She's doing wild things that she's never done before and saying things that Chris could never imagine. What's the cause of this all? Captain Howdy, of course! Now, Chris and Regan's only hope is Father Damien Karras (Jason Miller), the exorcist himself!

I saw the re-release version (w/ the never-before scenes) in theaters (as well as on video). I remember my two friends being scared before watching and they were huddling together in the theater. I personally didn't find this movie scary at all even though the fact that being possessed by demons is possible. Yet I must say that I think this is by far, the freakiest movie I've ever seen in my life. Interesting too, because there was never a movie like this before! And of course, afterwards, other movies about possessed victims have followed (i.e. "Stigmata" starring Patricia Arquette as the helpless victim). Yet nothing could ever repeat the errie horror of "The Exorcist".

As a matter of fact, there were some funny parts of this film! (he he!). When Linda Blair's character, Regan, is possessed, prepare for very funny cursing lines (especially when the two priests come to visit), but also rather painful parts (when she's attacking herself with a crucifix...lots and lots of blood - **ouch**).

But anyways, this horror cult classic is one of the best movies I've ever seen! :) It's even great watching it on the silver screen w/ the re-release version! :)

It's the Pied Piper, Charlie Brown (2000 TV Movie)

Fun For ALL "Peanuts" Lovers! :)

A "Peanuts" version of the classic tale "The Pied Piper". The town is overrun by mice, and it's up to Snoopy to drive them out of town with is trusty accordian. Like the original Pied Piper, Snoopy would be awarded handsomely with a year supply of dog food, and the mean old mayor refuses to award Snoopy, who of course, gets his revenge! :)

Me, being a HUGE "Peanuts" fan, could NOT miss out on all the fun! Also, it's more up to date than the old classics in which I too keep close to my childhood memories. i.e.: Snoopy talks on a cell phone and this episode actually features adults who actually speak without the famous "wa wan wa" languages! *lol*

A fun class for all Snoopy and Charlie Brown fanatics, young and old! :)

Final Destination (2000)

Something Different That Defines A Teen Thriller Flick

Alex Browning (Devon Sawa) has a special (yet bonechilling) gift. While aboard a plane with a handful of his fellow students, Alex suddenly predicts that the airplane explodes. Only Alex, his friend, Tod (Chad Donella), Carter Horton (Kerr Smith), Terry Chaney (Amanda Detmer), Clear Rivers (Ali Larter), Billy Hitchcock (Seann William Scott) and teacher, Ms. Valarie Lewton (Kristen Cloke) are the only survivors from the school feild trip. One by one, since the plane crash, each survivor has died tragically. The only way to save their lives is to cheat death itself.

Freaky....isn't it? :)

FINALLY! A teenage horror flick that doesn't involve some goofy dude dressed up in a stupid costume, going around killing people like they had in "Scream", "Urban Legend", etc. Something that involves the mysterious supernatural, and involves even more heart pounding adventure! :)

Also, the foreshadowing is very clear in the flick with the John Denver tunes and the dark shadows that lurk from behind them. Interesting graphics and effects make this film an excellent flick! :)

If you happen to watch the DVD version of the movie, you will also get to watch some deleted scenes to the movie, which I found interesting. Also, an alternate ending to the whole film. Personally, I liked the alternate ending much better than the one they had on the film itself. But oh well!

Overall, "Final Destination" is a great film! You would not want to miss this one! :)

Inside the Labyrinth (1986 TV Movie)

A Look Inside the Making and Magic of the GREATEST Fantasy Adventure Film of ALL Time!!!

"Inside the Labyrinth" is a REAL treat for ALL "Labyrinth" obsessed cult followers (like moi) who can't just get enough of the great fantasy classic. This documentry explains how the most surrealistic place beyond anyone's imagination went from Jim Henson's thoughts and onto the silver screen!

What you get is an interesting look behind the film from the "swiss cheese-like" setting of Jareth's chambers to the romantic ball room scenery (and the versatile costumes worn by David, Jennifer, and the dancers!) to the creation of Hoggle and Ludo to the fancy juggling of Jareth's crystal balls. That is what you see when you watch the DVD version of "Labyrinth".

The video re-release has a small featurette of the documentry which features very little. I.E.: How Jim Henson and his crew chose David Bowie as Goblin King over Sting and (who knows why?!) Michael Jackson. (If MJ was chosen, he'd be moonwalking and grabbing his crotch during the "Dance Magic" part and the ball room scene). And - unfortunately - very little more. But hey...even if it is just a small featurette on the video, at least you saw a peek at the documentry, which is no longer in print! :) But yeah...I still recommend the DVD! Sorry.

It's weird though...just like the "Rocky Horror Picture Show", "Labyrinth" has become an instant pop culture classic as far as I know. (Not bad for a movie that's 14 years old!). I mean...I do not know one person (who saw this movie) say they hated it! When I watch it today...I still feel like that ten year old little girl who watched it the very first time during "Movie Time" back in elementary school in Mrs. Sample's class! :) Never did I once think that I could relate to Sarah's feelings about life and other hidden feelings (according to "Labyrinth" fans if you read the fan fiction on web sites - they have very convincing points by the way!) which is kind of overshadowed by her eagerness to rescue Toby.

Jim Henson's wild imagination....David Bowie's awesome music and of course, gorgeous image as Jareth....Jennfier Connelly's talented and powerful acting....it couldn't get any better than this! And it's all seen here in this fun-for-all documentry!!! :D A must-have for ALL "Labyrinth" fans!!!!!

Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984)

"He's no nuts, he's crazy!"

The second Indiana Jones adventure in the "Indiana Jones" saga. This time, Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford) unexpectedly winds up in India after a minor conflict with a mob in China. In India, Indy stumbles upon a village where the people claim that evil has abducted their sacred stone and their children. Despite the untold dangers that Indy might confront this time around, he agrees to help. With the help of his young sidekick, Short Round (Jonathan Ke Quan) and a frantic, nature-hating woman named Willie (Kate Capshaw), Indy must defeat the secretive and deadly Thuggie cult, who sacrifice humans to satisfy their blood-thirsty goddess, and retrieve both the village children and sacred stone.

This is my first - and only - Indiana Jones adventure. And although my brother owns "Raiders of the Lost Ark" and "The Last Crusade", I never really brought myself to even watch those two.

I find the "The Temple of Doom" adventure quite amusing:

** First of all, you have one frantic character played by Kate Capshaw who totally flips out over the "disgusting" side of the great outdoors in India. And of course, she learns that nature is nothing compared to almost having your heart torn out and being thrown into a pit of fire! *lol*

** Not only did I get a real kick out of Willie, but I also got a kick out of Indy's side-kick, Short Round. Perhaps one of the best parts in the movie is when Short Round saves his hero from a deadly voodoo doll (of him) with a jewel dagger stabbed in it's back as Indy tries to defeat one huge, scary-looking Thuggie. And of course, here's Short Round pinning down the voodoo doll keeper, throwing endless punches at his face. And then camera angle turns...there's Indy doing the same thing to the Thuggie. **grin** :)

** Harrison Ford - one of the greatest actors in Hollywood - looked mighty cute! :) And as always, our hero finds himself in near-death experiences...such as almost having his heart being torn out by the Thuggie priest Mola Ram (played by Amrish Puri), get washed up by a huge tidal wave of water, etc. etc.

Not to mention, "Indiana Jones And the Temple of Doom" also features non-stop action and adventure! Bloody-thirsty worshippers, an ambitious and fearless hero, a frantic woman, and cute little side kick makes this Indy adventure 100% fun w/ non-stop action! :)

"He no nuts, he's crazy!" Short Round says. Well...at least he's not fearful...or boring! :)

The Cell (2000)

A Surrealistic Film That Cannot Be Ignored

"The Cell": A gory tale about a deranged serial killer named Carl Stargher (Vincent D'Onofrio) who suffers from the harsh memories of his childhood. His schizophrenic mood swings get worse as life goes on, and sadly, he turns to a life of crime. When he kidnapps Julia Hickson (Tara Subkoff), he hides her where no one can find her, leaving the FBI in a chaos. Soon, FBI agent, Peter Novak (Vince Vaughn), and the FBI turn to psychotherapist Catharine Deane (Jennifer Lopez), who (with brand new and interesting technology) goes into Carl's twisted mind to see where he is hiding Julia. There, she sees a much softer side to Carl, but not to mention - his vulgar, dark imagination.

For me personally, "The Cell" was a blessing, because this year, I've seen A LOT of really sh*tty movies ("Scary Movie" has been branded the number one worse movie I ever seen). Even when I saw the commercials, I KNEW that I would enjoy this movie. I didn't expect a few parts yet that's what movies offer unless the plot is pointless or one of those films that you say, "Seen it before...*yawn*!"

Watching this film was like looking at a painting of pure surrealism. The images of Carl's "dolls" were battered with bruises, cuts, blood, needles, and pins that symbolize torture, anger, and pain. When Catharine is in Carl's mind, you notice the heartache he's suffered from when he was a little boy. He sees himself as a ruler of a monarch of fear and pain. Some of the images reminded me of the Nine Inch Nails video, "Closer", and a painting by Salvadore Dali called "I Dream of an Evening Dress" (or something like that!).

I couldn't take my eyes off of any of the scenes, because I was captured by the shear brilliance of this film. It was NOTHING like I've seen in a film ever before! Perhaps it's the best film in the new millenium! :)

Just a minor warning: Some of the bloody parts in this movie maybe too hot to handle for some viewers!!! On the other hand, if you do have high tolerence for scenes such as that - ENJOY!!!

Scary Movie (2000)

STUPID Movie!

"Scary Movie" is a parody film about Cindy Campbell (Anna Faris) and her dimwitted and muttonheadedfriends, who run their car over a guy whom they think is dead, and they dump his body into the water. Soon, only a year after the incident, Cindy's friends are dying thanks to some phsycho killer who is just as stupid as the teens.

Alright...in the film, they say, "Does Scream have a plot? Noooo...!!! Did "I Know What You Did Last Summer" make any sense? No!"

Well, let's put it this way: Compared to this movie...they do!

My friends saw this movie before me and they took me last night to see it. Well anyway, while they are laughing their asses off at almost every scene in the movie, I just sat there and thought to myself, "Why did I even bother?!"

I will admitt, I've seen quite a few really boring movies this year (excluding "Frequency"), but this one was THE WORSE!!!! I will say, though, that I happened to have found maybe only three parts funny, but everything else was pointless!

What do you get when you watch this movie? You get parodies of a few 90's horror films ("Scream", "I Know What You Did Last Summer", "The Blair Witch Project", "The Sixth Sense"), a really, really pointless plot that makes NO SENSE whatsoever (not even the ending made any sense!), and everyone knows what you get when you have a horrible plot...a horrible script!!!

Speaking of the script, perhaps the worse was when Cindy says, "But Ginger Spice was an important part of the Spice Girls!" That line came when Anna Faris and Jon Abrahams (who plays Cindy's boyfriend Bobby) do a parody of the "She's gone..." part in "Scream" between Neve Campbell and Skeet Urlich. And of course...it has nothing to do with the film!

I cannot tell anyone not to go see this movie, because everyone has different tastes in film, but let's just saying that the ONLY thing I enjoyed while watching this movie was the popcorn I was eating (Yummy!)!!! I voted "1" for AWFUL!!!! Yet if you like dumb-witted comedies such as these, have something which I didn't have - FUN! :P

Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo (1999)

FUNNY AS HELL!!! :D

Rob Schneider stars as Duce Bigalow, a fish tank cleaner who also has a low love life. Soon, Duce meets male gigolo, Antoine Laconte (Oded Fehr), who has to go away for a while, and leaves his luxorious home into Duce's hands. Yet there is one catch: If Duce wrecks the place, he's dead meat! Unfortunately, he does end up wrecking the place, including Antoine's one of a kind, thousand dollar fish tank. To make ends meet, Duce must now come up with a way to patch things up. To do that, Duce takes the job as a gigolo with the help of T.J. Hicks (Eddie Griffin) and Claire (Gail O'Grady).

During his rather short journey as a gigolo, Duce meets a few interesting clients:

- Tina who is taller than almost every man in town.

- Carol who just cannot stay awake for even a second.

- Ruth who suffers severly from torette syndrome.

- Jabba Lady who is ten times his size.

- And Kate (Arija Bareikis) who ends up being the girl of his dreams.

Yet during his short streak as a male gigolo, Duce has another big problem on his hands...being wrongly accused for sleeping with Chuck Fowler's (played by William Forsythe) wife, Elaine (Jacqueline Obradors).

All I can say about this movie is this:

It's definately not brilliant, and in a way, it's stupid, but that's okay. It's a real hilarious comedy with some really funny moments....ESPECIALLY when you meet Duce's clients! Those of course are the more stronger parts of the film.

And yes, there are the weak points. "Duce Bigalow" isn't one of the best movies I ever seen, and I cannot gauruntee that this is one of the best comedies you'll ever see! There are a few really weak parts in the film that I thought were pointless like the mini parody from "The Matrix" between Rob Schneider, Oded Fehr, and Gail O'Grady...well, you'll see what I mean!!!

I liked this movie...and I CAN gauruntee that if you love comedies, you'll love this one too!!! :)

Scream 3 (2000)

Scream 3: More Laughter Than Screaming

An odd movie that would make people laugh more than scream! I personally got mixed reviews of this movie from friends before I saw it. Some people loved it while others said it sucked. I wanted to see this movie the night it went into theaters, but tickets were sold out! :( Plus, my friend wanted to see "Down To You" instead! Oh well!

Here's the plot:

Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) is now older, and seems to be at peace in her new home. Yet still, she keeps her home secured just incase knowing what has happened to her in the past. Still the spine-chilling deaths of her friends and her mom still haunt. Meanwhile in the glamorous hills of Hollywood, "Stab 3" is being shot. Director Roman Bridger (Scott Foley) is making movie magic along with a list of young (and fictional) actors: Tom Prinze (Matt Keeslar) as Dewey, Sarah Darling (Jenny McCarthy) as Candy, Jennifer Jolie (Parker Posey) as Gale, Tyson Fox (Deon Richmond) as Ricky, and of course, Angelina Tyler (Emily Mortimer) as the ever famous Sidney.

From out of the blue, Cotton Weary (Liev Schreiber), the man who was originally accused of murdering Sidney's mom, and his girlfriend, Christine (Kelly Rutherford), are brutally murdered at Christine's home. Yet Cotton and Christine are only the beginning of the brutal killings that soon take place in young Hollywood. All of the sudden, little by little, the cast of "Stab 3" are being slained, and the killer's main target is once again, Sidney.

And there's another mystery going around besides the murders of the "Stab 3" cast....what happened to Maureen Prescott in the 1970's and what does she have to do with (*fictional*) 70's actress, Rena Reynolds???

That's the main plot to the whole story basically. With the return of Gale Weathers (Courteney Cox Arquette) and Dewey Riley (David Arquette), and of course, as whole new cast of helpless victims and allies, "Scream 3" makes it's mark as the final chapter in the "Scream" series.

"Scream 3", unlike the first and second ones, offers a little bit of suspense, and a bit of comedy with Parker Posey's character, Jennifer Jolie. It's unpredictable to see who the MAIN killer is (although I guess a lot of people know who it is already even though they didn't see the movie). I have to say, I found most of the characters quite amusing. That's probably why some people thought this movie was a bit of joke.

Yet I liked "Scream 3", and I must say, I'm glad I FINALLY got to see it! :) I wish the "Scream" series would continue, but I'm glad it ended the way it did. Plus, once you see the third one, it connects the first and second "Scream" to the third one. And after you see it, you kind of think to yourself, "Oh...it all makes sense!"

"Scream 3" didn't leave a lasting impact on everyone who saw this movie, but that's only normal. Yet to all "Scream" fans, the final chapter is truly intense and not to mention unforgettable, and is a true classic that will eventually go down in film history along with it's predecessors ("Halloween", "Friday The 13th", etc.)! :)

The Story of Us (1999)

An Enjoyable, Sweet, Modern American Love Story :)

Ben and Katie Jordan (played by Bruce Willis and Michelle Pfieffer) are in love...well, they WERE in love! After fifteen years of marriage and two children, the love is fading fast, and divorce seems like the only light bright light they see. While their children, Erin (Colleen Rennison) and Josh (Jake Sandvig) are away at summer camp, Ben and Katie tell about the highs and lows of their fifteen year marriage, and remember both the good times which seem to bring them closer again and the bad times, which totally tear them apart...again. Yet beyond the heated arguments between Mr. and Mrs. Jordan, there are Ben and Katie's strong, passionate feelings for each other...which could possibly bring hope in saving their marriage.

"The Story of Us" is a sappy love story for just about anyone! Okay, it's not the BEST or most brilliant movies I ever seen, but perhaps, this film can teach valuable lessons of what true love is and of course that sometimes the bad times in a relationship of any kind can bring partners closer together...especially if they've been married for fifteen years!!! :)

What I liked about this film was the moments of bubbly humour in which some of the characters brought on-screen (i.e. the ever annoying Andy and Joanie Kirby played by Bill Kirchenbauer and Lucy Webb during the "I HATE THE KIRBY'S" part of the movie), and the senseless fights between Ben and Katie. One thing's for sure, you can easily see the guilt in their eyes after they fight! Yet that's kind of cute! Though it's obvious that they love each other still...this movie still keeps you still on your seat...wondering what might happen next or what crazy little subjects Ben and Katie might fight over again and again!

They kind of remind of Ricky and Lucy Ricardo from "I Love Lucy" only they are living in a different decade...they have more children...and they curse more (well...duh)! Yet like Ricky and Lucy, they seem to fight over stupid things, which is normal in any relationship, right? But of course...some of the issues they did fight over were kind of serious and maybe important to them personally. From Ben's complaints about Dot (Katie's mother) to Katie's complaints about "the other woman" in which her husband denies. Kind of serious stuff...huh?

Let's put it this way: "The Story of Us" is a modern American love story with a heartwarming twist that you cannot ignore! Anyone would enjoy this movie...especially women and romance lovers! If you like novels by Danielle Steel or Sandra Brown or enjoyed films such as "You've Got Mail", "Nine Months", or "Down To You", you will like "The Story of Us"! Or...

If you're in for a good romance film in which you laugh or cry to or could sit back and relax, rent this movie! I'm not into these sappy, simple love stories some films have to offer, but I enjoyed this movie!!!...and you NEVER KNOW...maybe YOU will like it too!!! :)

American Beauty (1999)

...Look Closer...and You Will Get One Strange Yet Intense Movie! :)

Okay, this a very strange movie. Usually in films, they have characters who start off with a complete downfall, but things turn out better in the end. Well...this movie presents just the opposite of that!

First, here's the MAIN plot: Lester Burnham (played by Kevin Spacey who won an Academy Award for Best Actor) and Carolyn Burnham (Annette Benning) are the idea husband and wife...well, that's what people think. On the outside they are happily married and totally devoted to each other, but deep down inside, their marriage is falling apart quickly and their daughter, Jane (Thora Birch), is anything, but "daughter-of-the-year". As Lester's marriage to Carolyn shatters into pieces, so does his life. That is until he meets Angela Hayes (Mena Suvari), an teenage aspiring model and daughter Jane's best-friend. Since meeting Angela at the school's basketball game, Lester has dreamed of Angela with a blend of rose petals and sexual fanatasies. His obsession with Angela may boost his confidence...a little...yet fate is still after him!

Well, that's the main plot. There are a few branches added to the plot. Here they are:

- Carolyn Burnham is miserable with her marriage to Lester and her career as a real estate agent isn't all fun and games anymore. For pleasure and happiness, she turns to her bussiness rival, Buddy Kane (Peter Gallagher), and starts to have an affair with him, which suddenly turns not only her marriage, but her own life upside down!

- Jane Burnham is suffering from the oddest problems a typical, all American teenage girl could ever have: Her parents hate each other, her father is obsessing over her friend (and not to mention, Angela, herself, is willing to return the pleasure to Jane's dad), and the new boy next door, Ricky Fitts (Wes Bently) has developed a major crush on Jane. Ironically, Ricky and Lester have formed a friendship, which makes Ricky's homophobic father (Chris Cooper) believe that they are "more than friends". Ricky has it tough in life...his father rules the house with an iron fist and often takes his anger out on his son. As misery full fills Ricky's life, Jane's feelings for Ricky changes from hate to love.

Okay, those are the plots to this story. Tempting...isn't it? Well, I must say, I thought this was an excellent film for good laughs, but is also filled with surprises! Although it's not the best movie I ever saw in my life...it is a movie that was worth renting!!! And for those who haven't seen it and want to see...it's definately worth it!!! With unforgettable performances by Kevin Spacey, Annette Benning, Thora Birch, Wes Bently, and Mena Suvari, "American Beauty" is an unforgettable, intense film that will make you not want to move an inch away from your seat and soon become an instant classic!!!

A Clockwork Orange (1971)

Fascinating...Impressive...What an AMAZING Film!!! :)

Stanley Kubrick's 1971 film, "A Clockwork Orange", is the story about an aggressive young man named Alex DeLarge, who has a strong passion for ultra-violence, rape, and (believe it or not!!!) Beethoven. As the leader of his so-called droogs (Pete, Georgie, and Dim), who share the same passions as he does, Alex and his three droogs have terrorized futuristic England...raping and beating helpless victims until he is captured by the police and sentenced 14 in jail for murder. To shorten his jail sentence, Alex goes for aversion therapy to cure his violent ways. After being released, Alex's passions for ultra-violence, rape, and Beethoven have all, but faded away. Soon, Alex finds out that being cured isn't all that is cracked up to be...and his former victims are all ready to turn every bit of pain and agony he has caused for them over to him. Like they say...everything you do, always comes back to you!!!

I always was eager to see this film...even though it is ten years older than I am...but after seeing Stanley Kubrick's final film, "Eyes Wide Shut", I was impressed by the strange and yet fascinating characters Stanley Kubrick's films have featured. Alex DeLarge is an unforgettable character played by Malcolm McDowell...his brilliant mind, but horrible passions have made the film itself unforgettable. Stanley Kubric once said, "If Malcolm hadn't been available I probably wouldn't have made the film." Malcolm McDowell has brought a light onto the screen portraying the strange Alex DeLarge, and I don't think anyone could do better than Malcolm did! What I also loved about this film was the interesting twists and turns in the film.

"A Clockwork Orange" is one of the best films ever made! Any movie lover would love it!!! It's one film that is definately worth watching!!! :)

Eyes Wide Shut (1999)

Keep Your Eyes Wide Open And Witness the Haunting, Exotic Images of Kubrick's Final Masterpiece

"Eyes Wide Shut" is the final masterpiece by the great Stanley Kubrick! His many films bring unforgettable, strange and twisted images that will leave his audience spellbound and in deep thought! "Eyes Wide Shut" is one of them many films that could never be left out!

Stanley Kubrick's final work is a stunning film, starring Tom Cruise and wife, Nicole Kidman, as a wealthy NYC husband and wife. Once Alice Hartford (Nicole Kidman) confesses she had a fling with another man, her husband, Dr. William Hartford (Tom Cruise), is left in deep thought and soon goes on a wild journey of moral discovery and mystery after attending a secret erotic masquerade filled with sexual fantasies and activities. Yet after attending the masquerade, he soon finds out that attending the private party threatens not only himself, but everything he loves as well!!!

I was captivated by the plot, and when I saw this movie, it wasn't what I expected it to be! It's better than I ever imagined! Yet also hard to keep up with if you take your eyes off of the screen. So, keep your eyes wide open when watching Stanley Kubrick's final erotic masterpiece....but keep your children's eyes shut tightly!!! :) This is one film you DO NOT want to miss seeing!!!!

Frequency (2000)

A Screwed Up Film With an Excellent Twist! :)

After the death of his father in a fire in 1969, it seems that John Sullivan's life has shattered without his male role model. Yet thirty years later, John discovers that he can change the past by communicating with his late father through a radio that he had in his father's memorabilia box. With a twisted and unsolved mystery and an amazing adventure, as John and his father change the past to bring in a better future for the both of them, this film takes you on a wild ride that you will never believe!

"Frequency" is an AMAZING film! It'll grasp your attention once the film begins and will make you take you on the edge of your seat! What you get are two impressive performances by Dennis Quaid and James Caviezel, with an ending that just might warm your heart! I must also confess that this is the first REALLY good film I saw this century!!! In my book, they already beat "Down To You" and "Here On Earth"!!! :)

Should Be Called "He's All That"

About these teen flicks these days...their always about either about a girl or a guy looking for their special someone and falling in love (Ex: "She's All That", "10 Things I Hate About You", "American Pie") or they are bone-chilling thrillers (Ex: "I Know What You Did Last Summer", "Scream"). Well, "Drive Me Crazy" falls in the "Looking For Love" category.

This teen romance comedy, starring Adrian Grenier, Melissa Joan Hart, Stephan Collins, and Susan May Pratt, isn't your everyday girl-meets-cute-boy type of film. Melissa stars as Nicole Maris, who falls school basket ball star Brad, and will do ANYTHING to go to the prom with him. Yet her heart breaks when she finds out that Dream Boy gets hooked up with someone else. For revenge, Nicole asks child hood friend and now neighbor, Chase Hammond, played by Adrian, to replace Brad. Like Zach(Freddie Prinze Jr.) gives Laney (Rachel Leigh Cook) a make-over in "She's All That", Nicole brings out the "new" Chase, who will do anyting to get his ex-girlfriend, Dulce, back. Yet what Nicole herself never expects it to fall for her former childhood friend. Same goes for Chase. But because they both come from totally different worlds...what would their friends think of the hot new couple?

I must agree w/ the other user comments on this one...this movie is very predictable. You watch this movie and say to yourself, "Okay...seen it before in other movies!"

I highly do compare this movie to "She's All That", because of the unexpected love between Nicole and Chase. Yet unlike "She's All That", Nicole and Chase have known each other for a long time since childhood, and despite their love for basket ball king Brad and anti-high-school spirit Dulce, they of course realize that they both know what's best for each other and that the bond is still there.

Of course...anyone can see that...even when I first saw the commercial about this movie going into theatres. I'm not saying that this was a bad movie. It's actually good. Like all romance comedies before and after this, it's sweet...it's cute...something that any romance lovers would like to watch. Although "Drive Me Crazy" is a fairly good flick...even a movie your parents might even like...it lacks that special touch by putting in events that would capture the audience and make them think, "What!? That's not supposed to happen...is it!?"

So...let's conclude this review this way: If you liked "She's All That", you'll like "Drive Me Crazy"!!! :) ~ *FIN*
