Wild Side (1995)
Classic B-rate Trash Dont miss it.
Stunning piece of b-rate trash that should be honored not criticized. Cliched but effective plot keeps you frozen to the screen. Heche and Chen's believable love for each other shines through, but it's Walken's over the top performance that takes this film to another level. The scene where Walken says the quote "10 years pal in a cage with a gorilla with a psycho gorilla" is classic walken and that one quote alone is reason enough to check out this film.
True Romance (1993)
One Baddass Movie
Where do we start.Well we can start by saying that tarantino has written another fantastic script from the black wannabe drug dealing pimp to the elvis fanatic this movie has it all.oldman's performance is unforgettable one of the best of his career. christopher walken is brutally funny as the mob associate and val kilmer is dead on as the mentor to christian slater.jeffery kimball's cinematography is mesmerizing as is tony scott's direction.i highly recommend this film to anyone who likes highly violent highly kinetic films.
Bob Roberts (1992)
Might be the best political satire of all time
Tim Robbins has made one heck of a statement with this film presenting politics as it really is, crooked and disturbing. The screenplay is brilliantly clever brimming with brutal honesty about the political battle in washington.Robbins plays the right-wing politician perfectly portraying a crooked yuppie business man willing to do anything to get elected to the US Senate a must see film one of the best films of the decade.
Wild at Heart (1990)
Another Lynch Masterpiece
Lynch has made another bizarre masterpiece delving once again into lost souls on a journey to the emerald city trying to overcome the wicked witch and the psycho bobby peru. hahahaha but let me tell you why this movie strikes a chord with the viewer. it's got to be the overall surrealness of the film from crispin glovers disturbing performance to david patrick kellys menacing presence you soon won't forget wild at heart
Nashville (1975)
One of the best films of the seventies
No one can do it like altman for character study.brilliant study of human emotions in this altman classic catapults this above everything else. terrific cast handle the dialogue beautifully though a lot was improvised making things even more natural.ronee blakley gives a tragic unforgettable performance.the ending will stick with you forever great film.
