Teech (1991)
Maybe it would have been good, maybe not
I am one of the few privileged who actually got to screen this show before it was launched on the air. I was intrigued with the pilot and was eager to see what this show could do. For once, this show being canceled had nothing to do with Statistics or high powered Hollwood Execs. The show which had only filmed a few episodes at most suffered most unusual setback. The main actor ended up getting thrown in jail for a number of years on a drunk driving charge combined with a vehicular manslaughter charge after he killed someone while driving. Not much point in having a show called "Teech" when he won't be in it until season 4 or 5. Also, it wasn't like they could suddenly replace the main character with a new one, since they had already aired the pilot on television. I guess we'll never know.
Gigli (2003)
I reserved my judgment til I actually saw it.
I am suddenly reminded of a line from a film called "Billy Madison" which comparatively should have been best picture for the next ten years straight. Altering the quoted line slightly come my following review. "Gigli, That was the dumbest, most stupidest movie you possibly could be. At no point did you try and comprehend anything meaningful or show value into the cellulose you were encoded on. Everyone here, is now dumber for having watched. I award you no points, and may god have mercy on your soul" Even FX could not think of a good way to advertise the movie being on it's own station. Using the idea of, "if you can't do something well, learn to enjoy doing it poorly" their ad campaign was: Watch the worst move you've never seen! C'mon, you know you wanna!
This movie brought new hope to movies that have bombed in the past present and future, that nothing can be worse than this film.
