The Star Trek show Paramount failed to provide
4 July 2022
This show is, in every way, a Star Trek show in the original spirit of The Great Bird of the Galaxy.

Paramount has failed to deliver real Star Trek for so long: the abominations of the Jar Jar Abrams' universe, the absolute travesty of Discovery and the very mediocre Picard all pale in comparison to this show. This is raw, original Star Trek.

Beyond awful

There is NOTHING of any value here. Bad writing, bad stories, bad acting. Just end this drivel and put it out of its misery once and for all.

Great show

Some of Ricky Gervais' best work.

The show could do without Brian and the psychiatrist; they're just obscene, without being funny in the slightest, and detract from an otherwise brilliant show.

Truly awful
4 October 2020
The first 2 or 3 episodes had an interesting premise, were truly original and laid the groundwork for what could have been a great show, and then everything went completely off the rails. The SOL storyline is tedious, the story meanders without ever actually going anywhere and the finale can only be summed up as astoundingly bad.

Season 1 was enough for me. I won't be watching season 2.

Another classic sci-fi franchise destroyed by Jar Jar Abrams
28 March 2020
So far Jar Jar Abrams has destroyed both the Star Wars and Star Trek franchises. What's next? Alien? Galactica? Another vomitous, regurgitated mess from the biggest hack in Hollywood.

This entire season is AWFUL

I can't wait for this crappy storyline to end. Cruel warlords like the Governor or Negan made sense because they're the kind of people who rise when civilisation collapses, but everything about The Whisperers is so over the top ridiculous.

Really, really bad
16 October 2019
Season 9 wasn't great and season 10 is on a downward slide. The whole Whisperers storyline is thoroughly uninteresting and ridiculous, and the sooner it's over, the better.

Abysmally bad.

Plodding to the point of tediousness, completely unlikable characters, meaningless horror elements that do nothing to drive the story forward. It's just awful.

Ruined by the last 10 minutes of the S2 finale
10 June 2018
I really enjoyed series 1 and looked forward to series 2. For the most part, I also enjoyed series 2 and would give it a 7/10, even though it left so many loose ends that it was clearly written with a series 3 in mind. BUT.... then it all goes wrong in the last 10 minutes of the series 2 finale and 5 of those 7 stars get stripped away in an instant as the entire show implodes in a moment of utter ridiculousness. I have never seen such a wilful derailing of a show. It was so bad that I have no interest in seeing a third series. Anna Friel is an excellent actress who should RUN from this disaster and never look back.

Hope & Glory (1999–2000)
Excellent series

There aren't many epsiodes and they aren't on the telly very often, but this is one of the best series out there dealing with school life from the teachers' perspective.

I like Lenny Henry's work as a comedian but this show proves he can easily make the transition to serious drama. The supporting cast are wonderful and the writers aren't afraid to make unexpected changes in direction. There are surprises, both pleasant and unpleasant, and this is one of the areas it shines because it lends an air of credibility lacking in many shows.

If you liked "To Sir With Love", give this one a go... I know you'll like it.

Total rubbish
19 August 2001
This is a total waste of time. Soderberg should pay me for the 2.5 hours of my life spent watching this waste of celluloid.

The pace of the film is positively glacial. You can quite easily step out for a half hour, come back and really not have missed anything important. My interest has been held longer watching paint dry.

This is your brain... This is your brain on Traffic.... ZZZZZZZZZZZ
