The Silencers (1996)
Another Winner From PM.
29 February 2000
This is another excellent action movie from PM. Lots of shootouts and car chases make the movie very exciting and never boring. Jack Scalia makes a cool hero. The villains are menacing and look very cool. Action fans should check this one out. It definetly delivers the goods.

Above Average Due To Good Pairing Of Piper And Blanks.
29 February 2000
This is a good movie. Not as good as BACK IN ACTION, but pretty good none the less. There is a good amount of action to keep fans happy. The movie also benefits from how well Piper and Blanks work off each other. Richard Norton is underused though. He should have been the main villain.

Good Chemistry Between Two Leads, Lots Of Action. A Definite Winner!
29 February 2000
This is an excellent "B" movie. Blanks and Piper work really well together. The story is decent. But story doesn't count, action does. And there is more than enough action to keep people happy. Blanks and Piper are good in the numerous fight scenes. Overall a really good movie that any action fan should check out.

Martial Outlaw (1993 Video)
A Lot Better Than Its Title Suggests.
29 February 2000
This is a pretty good martial arts movie. The story is good as well. Jeff Wincott is a decent actor and a really talented martial artist. The fight in the gym is awesome, definitely the best fight in the movie. The other fights are good too. The only problem is the movie ends too suddenly without enough closure to the story. Other than that the movie is good.

Starts Out Bad, Gets Better.
29 February 2000
This movie starts out rather badly. The fights are slow and not very exciting. The other fights in the movie are a lot better though. Especially the one in the garage and the "test" to get into the peacekeepers. Jeff Wincott makes a decent hero. The female villain is rather bland though. She doesn't really do anything extremely evil. Martial arts fans will want to check this one out. Don't be fooled by the bad start, it gets a lot better.

An Involving Thriller That Rewards Those With Patience.
28 February 2000
This is a very well made thriller. It tells the story in flashbacks. Sometimes a little hard to follow, but very interesting. The action scenes are good. Mark gives a good performance. The ending leaves the possibilty of a sequel, which I wouldn't mind seeing.

Excellent John Woo Style Action Movie.
28 February 2000
This movie is really good, especially for a direct to video movie. The gunfights are cool and the fights are well executed. Lots of action to keep people happy. The theme song is awesome! I saw this movie almost a year ago and I still find myself humming the theme from time to time! A sure bet for action fans!

Sabotage (1996)
A Well-Made, Fast Paced Thriller!
28 February 2000
This is a very good movie. Good story, excellent action sequences. Tony Todd makes an awsome villian. Mark Dacascos is good as usual. Don't expect anything like DRIVE though. Mark has just one short fight scene. But that doesn't matter because this isn't a kung fu movie. It's a thriller, and a damn good one at that!

Predictable, But Enjoyable.
28 February 2000
You know whats going to happen to all the "bad" students as soon as you see them. But, this is still a very good movie. The style used is really amazing and fun to watch. The fights scenes are very good. Why this movie wasn't a big hit, I'll never know. It should have made Mark Dacascos a star.

Adults May Enjoy, Kids DEFINETLY Will.
28 February 2000
Is this movie any good? Yes and no. Lots of fighting will keep martial arts fans happy. The movie is fast paced and never boring. BUT, in order to appeal to kids, there is a lot of childish humor. This may make older fans unhappy. I however enjoyed the movie. Some of the jokes are actually funny. I guess you'll have to see for yourself.

DECENT
28 February 2000
This is definetly not Dolph's best movie. It doesn't have near as much action as some of his others. However, 2 spectacular action sequences make this worth at least a rent. The car chase in the desert and ESPICALLY the shootout in the car garage are spectacular. Dolph kills about 50 guys with guns, fire, and his bare hands. And he doesn't even get a scratch on himself. Too cool!

One of my top ten comedies of all time
26 February 2000
I don't really care for South Park at all, yet I found this movie to be really funny. The fight scenes are well executed for a low budget movie. It just goes to show you don't need 20 million writers to make a funny movie. About 95 percent of the jokes work! Thats way more than most movies! One of my top 10 comedies of all time.

Riot (1996)
Fast Paced And Action Packed!
26 February 2000
Good action movie. It may start out a little slow the first 10 or 15 minutes, but once Gary enters the riot zone, the movie becomes a non stop action fest! Lots of shooting and fighting to keep action fans happy. The stunts are good as well. The last one in particular is amazing! See the movie. I bet you will be amazed as well. Another winner from PM! Keep up the good work guys!

A Flat Out Masterpiece!
26 February 2000
This movie rules! It beats anything Jackie, Jet or anybody else I can think of has done. No offence to them, but it does. Every fight scene is perfect, especially the one in the hotel! Funny, fast paced, and exciting! That pretty much sums up the movie. And it costs under 5 million to make! Just goes to show you don't need tons of money to make a kick a** action movie! If this had been released in theaters, Mark Dacascos would probably be a big action star right now. Sadly, it wasn't. What a shame.

A Must See For Action Fans!
26 February 2000
This movie is basically a non stop chase. Once it gets started, it never even stops to take a breath! One great action sequence after another! Car chases, shootouts, and fighting! What more could you ask for? The story isn't bad either. It keeps you interested during the brief gaps between the plentiful action.

Will Anger Some, Please Others.
26 February 2000
Fans of the anime expecting a direct remake will surely be disappointed. Many changes are made and characters left out. Martial arts fans will definitely be happy! Gary Daniels really gets to show his stuff here! The fight with about 30-40 guards is a masterpiece! Costas is actually able to fake fight pretty good. He looks good in the movie though. The fight between him and Gary is excellent. Overall a good movie.

Bruce Would Be Proud.
26 February 2000
Man, fight scenes sure have changed over the years! They just keep getting better and better! This movie is a prime example of that! Every fight scene is awesome. Not one of them is bad. The story is good as well. Jet Li's best movie by far! Try and see the subtitled one if you can. It is a lot better than the dubbed one! The story makes more sense and the music is better. If you can't, then watch it anyway. The fight scenes make it worth it!

Decent Gary Daniels/PM movie.
26 February 2000
Not as good as the later Gary Daniels/PM movies, but still decent. The fight scenes are good, though it is obvious that no contact is made a few times. A decent car chase, a cool hero in Gary Daniels, and overall good and plentiful fights make this worth at least a rent. The guy that plays Gary's partner is an impressive fighter.

Hard Boiled (1992)
One Of Woo's Best.
26 February 2000
Easily one of the ten best action movies of all time! Chow Yun Fat is cool as always. John Woo can direct a gun fight like no one can! There may be a few slow spots, but the huge amount of action more than makes up for it! Hollywood can only dream about making a action film like this, at least until Woo makes his Hollywood masterpiece. Face/Off was So close, but I feel he can do better. Hopefully I'm right.

Good For What It Is.
26 February 2000
Sure, this movie is low budget, but that doesn't mean it's no good. Gary Daniels is likable in one of his early staring roles. The fighting is almost non-stop from beginning to end. Don't expect Jackie Chan like perfection though. Don't expect oscar calibre acting either. But, most martial arts movie fans will almost definitely like it. I know I did. Also, the training sequence before the kick-boxing match is awesome!

A Classic Chan Flick.
26 February 2000
This is probably Jackie's best movie after Project A. Not just fighting, but car chases and stunts galore make this a good choice for any action fan. Jackie was able to make a huge action epic for about 25 million US dollars. How he does it is anybody's guess. The best Chan movie released in the US so far. See it as soon as possible if you call yourself a Chan fan. You won't be sorry.

The Killer (1989)
Woo's Best Film So Far.
26 February 2000
The one that brought Woo to the attention of America, and rightfully so. A good story, excellent acting from all, a haunting and memorable score, a blazing pace, and proably the best shootouts ever put on film. All of these things combined make this film a masterpiece. I feel that no perfect movie exists, but this one comes close.

Jackie's Masterpiece.
26 February 2000
Jackie will proably never be able to top this film. It is without a doubt his best movie. Funny, fast paced, and full of action and amazing stunts. I was never bored while watching this movie. This should be released in America as soon as possible. Many fans will be grateful.

The One That Started It All.
26 February 2000
Jackie's first big hit. It's easy to see why it was so popular when it was first released. Nobody had ever seen comedy and kung fu mixed together before. And if it wasn't for Jackie, we might have never have. Good and plentiful fights easily make this a kung fu classic that still entertains over 20 years later.

Gets A Bad Rap.
15 November 1999
This movie is a lot better than people say it is. Sure, it's not a typical Jackie Chan movie, but it's good anyway. It has lots of action and is better than most of the buddy cop movies of the 1980's. Don't expect this to be like all of his other movies and you may like it. I did.
