Original, entertaining indie film about a young woman dealing with heartbreak.
20 June 2001
Directed by Adam Rifkin the film had some unique elements through flashback, a comic book, and Ally McBeal-esque visions through Vicky played by Judy Greer. Greer was extremely solid, Joshua Malina was good, and Fred Willard steals his only scene. The team of Rifkin/Bing/Sackett came away with a unique little romantic comedy.

A very powerful moving movie

You read all the glowing clippings about the performance by Hilary Swank, but I was still pretty much blown away by her portrayal of Teena Brandon. The scary thing is how she reminded you of a popular charming person you might have been friends with in high School...I was really surprised by the film it's self. I look forward to seeing Kimberly Pierce does next. I liked her style of film making, she did something that really brought home the feel of a small town and the stillness of the night.
