++ Possible Spoilers ++ Although I've never heard of a `Ted Bundy' but this movie gives you a good picture of very disturbed and troubled mind of a human. The movie wanted to tell too much but there was more repetition than \substance. It could have been done in a way to reveal more `richness' and depth. Michael Reilly Burke (Playing Ted) lead a good role, he was very convincing in demonstrating the `state of mind' of a serial killer. I liked the fact that this serial killer was not violent -or example during his arrest- nor was he smart in getting away from cops ..etc. he was simply driven by sheer instinct towards many disturbing thoughts.
The movie does lack some analytical view of what really happened, but does leave you wanting more of this phenomena! I cant understand why 200 ladies wrote him love letters after his death, I mean cant they imagine that they could have been among his victims!! I would really like to watch a movie about one of those sick ladies!!
The movie gives you a feeling of B-movies throughout from a script / cinematography point of view, but it has the intensity of an all time classic. If you are looking for F/X effects you will be disappointed, but if you are looking for an insight of a disturbed character I say go watch it. Well acted, well directed, a bit overdone..
Also acts as a good reminder for ladies who are over-easy when it comes to dealing with strangers..
