I love watching Providence on Friday nights. It's a good way to unwind and feel good. After the wedding of Sydney Hansen, the show will be off the air. NBC is cancelling another awesome show, and in the middle of the season. I used to like NBC but now it seems they are cancelling all these good shows. I will miss Providence and all the characters. I wish the show would at least last through May, 2003.

I love The Pretender. It is very creative and ingenious. The writers should be congratulated for the awesome storytelling that gets so involved. Michael T. Weiss is a great actor and portrays the role perfectly when Jarod has a plan. The other actors and Andrea Parker add to the intrigue.
I heard in May that The Pretender is being taken off the air. My guess is that NBC wants to show theatrical movies in that timeslot. Is this correct? I only heard this on the local news but not elsewhere. However, I was checking the fall lineup, and Pretender is not anywhere on the schedule.
I know many other people love this show so why cancel it? Why not just move it to another night? I have been trying to contact NBC for some answers, but have not received anything. If other people know about the cancellation, maybe we can campaign to keep it on the air.
