I liked this movie!

I have always been a big Kurt Russell fan so was excited when I read that he was making this movie. Boy, did the critics have a hayday with this one. I thought it was excellent. He did a lot of his own stunts and thought that since he didn't talk a lot in the movie he carried off with excellent acting skills. Sometimes I don't understand what critics expect out of a movie. I took this movie for what it was. A futuristic movie with good acting and great special effects. I have watched it many times and really enjoy it.

Gone Fishin' (1997)

This is just a funny movie! Not exceptional just funny. I laughed so hard. What a great movie that will just make you laugh. I had a really bad day and had purchased this movie last week. I thought I would put it in and I really wasn't sorry. I had enjoyed Pesci and Glover in the Lethal Weapon movies and they did not disappoint me in Gone Fishing. Just laughter from beginning to end.

I was given this movie by a co-worker who said it was the worst movie she had ever seen. If I wanted it, I could have it. So, I brought it home and watched. I had never even heard of this movie. I thought it was very entertaining. James Walters and Heather Graham were really good. Well, it goes to show that we all have different tastes in movies. I really really liked it and will watch it again.

Saving Private Ryan (1998)

This movie is the Greatest!

Just this last weekend, I watched this movie with my daughter and son-in-law. He had told me I really needed to watch it, he thought I would like it. Wow what a cast!!! Tom Hanks was just great and so were all the others. It really made me stop and think of all the hell our soldiers must have went through and just how many families suffered these kind of losses. I barely spoke a word after the movie was over. It was one of the best movies I have ever seen. Really makes you appreciate the brave men who fought for this country.

GREAT MOVIE VERY UNDERRATED

As the wife, mother, and mother-in-law of firefighters, I was very anxious to see this movie. This movie was outstanding. Well acted and well edited. Why wasn't Kurt Russell nominated for an Oscar? Well in my opinion, he should have been. His performance was WONDERFUL!!!! There were also many other great actors in this movie, Robert DeNiro and J.T. Walsh. Billy Baldwin also gave an outstanding performance. This movie inspired both my son and son-in-law to become firefighters. I think they have both seen in 100 times. GREAT MOVIE!!!

The Shawshank Redemption (1994)

Fantastic Film

I happened to see this film on TV not too long ago. My husband was watching so I thought I would sit down and watch. I was absolutely blown away by this film Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman were super!! It was well acted well edited. This is one of the most outstanding movies I have seen in recent years.

I purchased the video and have watched numerous times. The conclusion of this film had me on the edge of my seat. JUST OUTSTANDING!
