It's a Knockout!!
14 January 2002
For everyone who saw "What's Up, Doc?", starring both Miss Streisand and Mister O'Neal, this film is a real dandy. I love the way Babs just keeps talking and is SO high strung throughout the movie (but then again, when isn't she?) The chemistry between the two leads is very real and believable. This film does not set out to give you a huge statement, it is simply meant to make you laugh, have fun and love Babs, and that it certainly will. The end song "The Main Event/Fight" sung by Miss Streisand is a showstopper.

85 minutes cruelly snatched from my life!!
13 January 2002
This film was about as pleasurable as having wisdom teeth extracted! I am very glad I didn't waste 7.50 at the theater to view this particular movie. I do not think this movie was at all original and you can bet your bottom dollar that I won't waste 7.50 to see the sequel either!

Almost Summer (1978)
GREAT LATE 70'S TEEN MOVIE!!
5 March 2001
This movie is a little known film about a high school election. It's got some comedy, a little drama and a little romance, with Beach Boys-esque music (most of it was composed by Mike Love) It has Bruno Kirby, as Bobby DeVito, who will stop at nothing to see that Christine Alexander (Lee Purcell) doesn't win. They once dated, and now he wants to help an unknown candidate named Darryl Fitzgerald run against Christine. Meanwhile, Christine is having problems with her boyfriend and Darryl and Bobby's sister, Donna start to fall in love, too! Great hijinx and cool music make this one cool movie, which is worth seeking out, as it has never been released on video.

One of the best movies to come out of the 80's
13 November 2000
I first saw this movie when I was 14, and was immediately in love with Tatum O'Neal. She and Kristy McNichol, who is always very exciting to watch, play rivals at a summer camp. Kristy plays Angel Bright, the camp's scholarship winner who is streetwise and tough. Tatum portrays Ferris Whitney, a child of privilege. They meet and lock horns instantly. When one of the other campers challenges them to a contest, it's anything goes! Whoever loses her virginity first, wins!!! Although not as sleazy as it might sound, "Little Darlings" seems like a Disney romp about teenage sex. Matt Dillon also stars as Randy, the camper from the boys camp across the lake. One of the best coming-of age films I 've ever seen.

Foxes (1980)
Awesome, Awesome, Awesome!!!!!!

This is my favorite Jodie Foster movie ever!!! It starts out pleasantly enough, but after about the first ten minutes, you start to realize these kids aren't alright. Donna Summer's "On The Radio" haunts the whole movie as a soother to all the problems these kids go through (mom's new boyfriend, friend's drug use, teenage life in general) Look for Keanu Reeves as an uncredited extra in a yellow t-shirt who gets a football thrown across a room in front of him during the party scene. Cool music, and cool movie.

Blood Feast (1963)
Laugh Fest!!!

This is one of the best movies ever to watch with your friends. The plot is rather quirky: Egyptian caterer kills young girls in an attempt to resurrect an ancient goddess. The gore is kind of gross. And something really funny is that the caterer walks with a limp, yet ALWAYS seems to catch up to his victims!!! Worth seeing as a curiosity.
