Foundation (2021– )

NOT For Asimov Fans!

Instead of incorporating the ideas of Asimov's Trilogy, or Founation's Edge for that matter, the show uses bogus (to put it nicely) ideas from the heads of shows's writers. It's almost as if they told the writers to not read the books, instead just write a Scifi story about a the Galactic Empire in their own heads, wtf.

It hurts, everytime I see an advertisement for this show i cringe. It's worse than Star Wars, but at least Star Wars did not include Asimov's name or Trilogy title (George Lucas removed every intellectual piece of Founation and made a movie out of it).

At this point I do not know what is worse, it feels like THEFT, Apple TV is using a prolific author's name and Novel title to bring in viewers.

True Asimov fans will not watch this, I can promise you that. It's sad!

I hope PKD isn't next :/

Stick to the Show, the Movie is a Disappointment

I was counting down the days, for months, but turned out very disappointed after watching the long awaited movie from the best show to ever air on Adult Swim.

Mantilla was AWFUL, whoever voiced her sounded like nails on a chalkboard, and she was never funny or helped out the plot, positively. Instead she single-handedly ruined the movie, anytime she was on screen and opened her mouth it seemed as though the movie came to a screeching hault.

Beyond her the movie is decent, there were only a few big laughs, unlike the actual show where nonstop hilarity throughout keeps you binge watching day in and day out.

Missing a scene in the show could be detrimental to understanding the show in future episodes, missing Mantilla's scenes in the movie is a relief.

Beware, huge disappointed for day-1 fan, unfortunate casting of addtional voice actors.
