Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2024)
Unfair low reviews
If it wasn't for the premise being based on the movie, the reviews wouldn't be so low. Perhaps also because there is a bit going on that subtle and not in your face like those giving low ratings are used to.
A fun show, good writing, good acting, a few surprises, and all set within some outstanding house p0rn! The houses are so perfectly furnished, just amazing settings. Seeing what's going on in that perfect bathroom with the coveted stand alone bath was highly comic to me, and the loss suffered at the lake was heartbreaking. Just stunning settings. I totally related to what John found out about the neighbour - Moby D indeed.
Honorable mention to the mother, bringing the levity to a heightened situation.
Really enjoyed it, would watch a second season.

Great for what it is
This show wasn't on my radar at all, but found from a search for 'real estate' on Prime. Took a chance on an Aussie show and am glad I did. Also glad 3 seasons had been released before I found it, with only 6 episodes in a season.
Simon's humour has really grown on me, and I enjoy his screen time. Tammy has a sharp wit, I'd like to see more of her, and was a little disappointed she didn't make the move into sales as it would have been interesting to watch her progression. Maybe in the future!
D'Leanne brings the humanity and class. The way she interacts with others is a strength that the Yo Bros don't seem to understand, this and her experience bring results that keep her at the top. Why would or should she approach the Yo Bros for any guidance?!
Gavin's confessionals are repetitive and getting boring. Putting down D'Leanne and Monika did not make him look better, and doing it in front of his team certainly adds to the culture of disrespecting older women, or perhaps anyone that isn't them or able to make them a dollar. Looking forward to seeing the new office spaces but would not mind if we saw less from TRG unless it deviates from what we've already seen. If we wanted to watch circle j*rks there's a whole other genre of entertainment for that.
Overall, the homes featured are stunning, the banter and characters are entertaining, it's a good value guilty pleasure.

Delightful charmer
Lovely, feel good, easy to watch romance. Interesting characters and premise. Beautiful sets, the rooms are often rich colours with intricate wallpapers and rugs. The music is light and playful, helping to keep the tone of the movie light and enjoyable.
I just felt swept away by this lovely movie for not quite 90 minutes of humorous and heartfelt entertainment. Great for some weekend viewing, a nice one if you like to watch romances at certain times of the month (if you know, you know) as it's not draining or traumatic at all.
Really glad I picked it at random on a Sunday evening, not realising it was made in Hungary and has subtitles but that wasn't an issue and even added to the charm.
I didn't realise it was based on a book but will seek that out, thanks to the other reviewer mentioning it.

Solid show
I like it. And I only watch good shows. Most of the bad reviews mention the movie or another tv show. Watch on it's own merits and enjoy good storytelling. Nice to see an Aussie actress in a meaty role too!
