Succession: What It Takes (2021)
This is the Best Episode I ever saw on TV after watching SUCCESSION 5 Times
The reviews are so bad in this Episode is just because people miss the point of what will happen and how can it affect. I have watched this show 5 times and Season 4 - 2 Times, just because I wanted to get every ounce of this show.
The editing, dialogues and screenplay overall is out of this world. The Greg-Tom dynamic is outstanding. Logan is a beast in this show. Shiv is shining like a star.
Each and every minute of this episode is blood pumping. Honestly after watching 172 Web-Series till now, this Episode is my favorite so far that nothing even comes close.
The complexity of Crown, the Mindful ness of Prison Break, The emotion of breaking bad, the scope of Game of Thrones. All of this on a single episode.
If I could, I would've bowed my head to the creators for making this episode. No tricks just excellence of creative minds. Fabolous,
JL50 (2020)
I would rate it 5 Star if I was sure it was about time travel.
Acting, Cast, Screenplay, Story was good. And based on that , I rated it Eight.
If the ending didn't made a dichotomic mindset, I would rate it One. Everything was pitch perfect apart from the scientific explanations and works.
Sure it was influenced by 'Intersteller' and I just want to advise the Director just one thing "If you want to get inspired by Nolan , inspire yourself but get your facts right".
It was a 10/10 Series if the happening sequences were logical and mathametically possible.
Good series altogether apart from the time-travel thing , it had a lot of "LOOP-HOLES" (Pun intended)
Shakuntala Devi (2020)
India is like , Ramanujan Biopic - No ! Shakuntala Devi - Yes
There's nothing good in this film except Jishu's acting. Maybe the film has been made to potray the good things about SD but it made me hate him. As a maths entertainer who didn't contributed a single thing to maths , doesn't deserves biopic at the first place. Talking about cinema , its cheesy over the top typical bollywood film which wanted to make audiance cringe. It's barely better than the SOTY2. Not everyone like every film but I hate this. Emotions are portrayed with pressure. And everything in this film is like "Why I am watching this instead of rewatching The man who defined infinity". The Director should name this film " A selfish lady who is good in replacing calculators". At the end of the day , maths isn't all about counting qube roots and deciding future of others. A TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT.
Dwitiyo Purush (2020)
A bad film which is good enough
Being an aspiring Filmmaker I watched this movie little differently. First of all the story is 10/10 no doubt. But the Screenplay is dense near the end (as like 22 e srabon ). Being a non-linier playscript it is heavily disoriented throughout the movie. Editing and Colors have their flaw 100% but it didn't looked too bad or like the director (Srijit) forced it to be what called different. Some parts of the movie is shamelessly influenced by foreign directors (Todd Phillips). The cinema is all the way on the shoulder of "22 e srabon" which gave it an advantage in the first place in the proof of that Srijit puts a big chucks of 22 e srabon in this film. Although it's an "True sequel" but it felt like he was using 22 e srabon as a nostalgia to make us like this film which is awkward and at the same time silly. At the end as a job of a director Srijit Mukherjee did a normie or as we call it as average job,but due to the strength of the story he hardly balanced it to be a good film. And why I am praising only about the story is, when you get out of the theater, the only thing that would stuck in your matter is one and only the story but nothing else. Although in the first hour there's a bunch of sprouts that should enjoy the audience. Dialogues are balanced and little bended towards psychology as it should in the sequel but it is good, not more & not less than being godd. The acting is impeccable just impeccable. And the Cinematography is okaish. The film should get a 5.5 to 6 out of 10 in my consciousness but the overall film is not that bad.
