Scooby-Doo: Return to Zombie Island (2019 Video)

Very mixed feelings

Return to Zombie Island is definitely nowhere near as good as the original. On one hand, I am very disappointed that the cats and zombies were just people in masks. It would would have been so much better if they stuck to the original, but WB just has to make things "kid friendly." It's getting old to the point where the producers just use the same formula. It did have a somewhat interesting plot, with having two "mysteries" as well as the ambiguous ending with the final catperson. It was enjoyable and would be a good watch with kids and family. Also, Velma's voice actress needs to change, it is just not working for me.

Ani needs to go away

The first season was pretty good, the theme and message the writers were trying to send were serious, which I appreciate. I decided to give the second season a chance, but was honestly just plain unnecessary. I gave the show the benefit of the doubt and tried the third season. I can't even go through half way because of Ani. I'm sure she is a great actor in real life, but the character is just too annoying and literally has no connection to the previous characters. Poorly written and unnecessary character.

Trollhunters: Tales of Arcadia (2016–2018)

Amazing and underrated

This show is just awesome. While it is aimed for kids, it can get just a bit dark. There are some great jokes as well so I think everyone should watch it. There is awesome character development, continuity, plot, and humor. 10000/10 would recommend!!

Stranger Things (2016–2025)

Wow what an amazing show!

If you are doubting watching this, please do yourself a favor and watch it! The suspense, drama, romance, supernatural, and comedy is such a perfect mix for this gem. It is fun to see the character development and really great acting. Honestly, this is such a masterpiece!!

Friends (1994–2004)

Best show I've ever seen

Wow. I'm a new Friends viewer and only on season 4, but I just had to give a review. This show is honestly so amazing. I have never laughed so much (probably from the recorded laughs on the show though) and been so happy with a show. The characters and subplots are all so unique and hilarious. It is so great to see how these situations could be like in real life and what it really means to be a friend. Please do yourself a favor and watch it!

The Good Place (2016–2020)

Original, funny, serious = perfect

As seen from my summary, The Good Place is a perfect show! It mixes drama, romance, comedy, and light-hearted moments to create such a unique feel. I love the writer's creativity and wonder if there is actually a "good place." The plot is wonderful and we get to see so many characters learn about themselves and each other as well as watch them grow. This is a perfect show I would recommend to anyone! Wish they would be able to make more than 5 season!

Teen Titans (2003–2006)

Love it

I'm confused as to why the rating isn't higher. Teen Titans has great character development, plot, and comedy: the perfect formula for a show like this. It can be mature which is another great thing about it. This show is a 10 in my book.

Young Justice (2010–2023)

All I can say is watch this show! It has so many different heroes and villains, making it so much more interesting. I especially like the use of politics and social media in the third season, making it much more intriguing to watch. I am not a huge DC fan, but really do love this show. Watch it! I swear you will not regret it.

Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists (2019)

Good for PLL fans

PLL Perfectionists has the same vibe and feeling to the original, so I would recommend it if you're a PLL fan. It does fall a bit flat in terms of character development and plot. The show uses the same formula as the previous show, in my opinion. But, I'm still willing to give it a chance if season 2 comes out!

I stumbled upon this on Netflix not knowing it was part of a trilogy series and I'm so glad I found this hidden gem. However, I'm super excited to watch Trollhunters now since I hear that show is even better! 3Below is super funny, has great plot and characters, and is overall fun to watch, especially if you need something to watch with family! Would highly recommend!

Pretty Little Liars (2010–2017)

Pretty Good!

This show is pretty good, mixing drama, romance, murder, and mystery. I will have to say, though, the show gets messy after season 4 finale. So, if you are someone that needs everything to make sense, I would honestly stop around season 4. Other than that, I honestly can't stop thinking about the show and the storyline, so that tells me that PLL is really a good show despite the many many plot holes and unanswered questions. Try giving it a shot!

Really Great Series!

I so far love this show! I will admit that the first episode wasn't the best, but it definitely gets a lot better. The group dynamic, chase scenes, comedy, and different guest stars really help bring the show together. I'm so glad to see the original animation styles after witnessing Be Cool Scooby-Doo. It fall a bit weak in that each episode doesn't quite have the "finding clues" and "looking for suspects" kind of feeling as shown in the previous Scooby-Doo series. It also does feel a bit rushed, hence why took off a star. But, as a long time Scooby-Doo fan, I think this show is super solid! Definitely would recommend watching, long time Scooby-Doo fan or not!
