Good horror film, not a good end for Halloween though. Too many crazy occurrences.
14 October 2022
This could've been the 2nd Film and Halloween Kills could've been the last, if you switched it up obviously for the third film and had a Fantastic ending. But this? This was too random. There was no explanations to anything, just alot of stuff to question. It feels like Blumhouse had a slasher film ready, and then they thought of adding Michael Myers, Laurie, and Haddonfield into the story. I don't want the same thing as the last film, i just wish the movie was BETTER. It was so random! This didn't feel complete, I loved a lot of things they did, but they took a turn for the worst, even when it came to October 31st in the film, there was no sign of Halloween anywhere! This felt like another slasher film with Halloween weaved into it. You left so many questions and my question to Blumhouse, Danny Mcbride and David Gordon green is...WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT? WHY WOULD YOU TWIST UP HALLOWEEN LIKE THIS? YOU WERE ON A ROLL WITH HALLOWEEN 18 AND HALLOWEEN KILLS...We don't need the fancy, psychological, curse treatment.

Prey (I) (2022)

Eh, too predictable and basic. Tried to be intense, came off wobbling.
5 August 2022
The film was shot so beautifully! So, camera operators and editors congratulations! But the film itself is the same tired bs, the predator becomes an idiot and looks dumb! Just like the Jeepers Creepers 3, he runs into trees and shoots himself. And Jeepers Creepers 3 was BAD! This film should've had more heart. The Revenant is so much better and there's no Predator or Alien in that film. Don't expect much from the HULU HOOP.

Firestarter (2022)

Haha no way this was that bad! I wanted to be nice...But this was weak.
13 May 2022
They really had guys in fireproof suits just stand there getting sprayed with a flame thrower off screen!!! It was too obvious! Haha yes the guys in the hazmat fire suits just get hit with a flame thrower off screen! It's very obvious and just cheap...there was no little girl with super powers. It's all just a flame thrower and some small explosions off screen! CHEAP and horribly executed...Good thing the main little girl can act! She was great. And why did they torture a Cat? Your film isn't good enough or strong enough to kill off animals lol...The movie The Godfather (1972) could've killed 100 cats and dogs during its runtime, as long as that amazing impactful storyline is still there, I will let it pass...While this cheap film gets NO PASSES.

Very good and brutal film! Box office is low? No Disney or Marvel name attached!
3 May 2022
This film was very good, had a spooky theme to it! The promotion was not good at all because i only heard of this film recently, i saw no ads...We all know if this film magically had the Disney or Marvel brand slapped on it, it would've made a ton of money. Oh well, this could be a hidden gem! I dont care, i enjoyed it. These are the movies i like to see.

The Batman (2022)

Pure entertainment. Some stuff went nowhere but it's 80% enjoyable.
4 March 2022
I liked this more than No Way Home, while everything was done nicely, Robert Pattinson didn't let loose. I guess he really didnt enjoy doing Batman and HE SHOWS IT. I had high hopes for him because in the Lighthouse he was really great. So im just upset Robert phoned this thing in...remember Michael Keaton? "LETS GET NUTS" well this Batman/Bruce wayne is a mute. I can't recall much from him. Robert didn't make his mark! But everyone else did great. They didn't have big shoes to fill.

THIS FILM CROSSES THE LINE. TOO MUCH. I like their Pranks and Puns. Not the pain.
7 February 2022
This was my first Jackass movie to ever watch! And oh boy...This film was trying so hard to be painful that it's actually just PAINFUL and Deadly. If I was that Danger Ehren guy, I would proof read my contract again, you can actually see FEAR, DREAD, AND REGRET in his eyes!! This man was being tortured inside and out. He was totally punching bag and abused child. They must be paying Danger Ehren boat loads of money or the insurance is non-existent!!! Also, does the Penis and Ballz just stop feeling pain after 40 years? These guys were bashing balls and smashing THINGS. Sick stuff. If anyone remembers the "BME Pain Olympics" from around 2008, This is borderline going into that territory...

GameSlop is amazing! This film hit every emotion and feeling i had!! I tripped over an oxygen tank when i exited the theater.

This is the same as Space Jam 2021! Warner Bros did the same film over.
27 December 2021
It comes down to this. Keanu is Lebron James, they're trying to make them do a Video Game/Film that they don't want to sign onto...So Warner Bros. Just redid the SpaceJam 2021 story but they did it with The Matrix this time...That's extremely odd and the Matrix universe even makes an appearance in the SpaceJam 2021 film. Kinda lame of Warner to do this... but atleast The Matrix 4 is much BETTER than Space Jam 2021.

I just can't. Ill watch American Sniper again
17 November 2021
This movie is for Netflix original...American Sniper was directed by Eastwood and is 100x superior...maybe the story just wasn't right. Clint Eastwood should stick to R rated dramas...Although he should just enjoy the rest of his royalties and life cause he's made his mark forsure!!

Lights, Camera, Action! Horror.
30 October 2021
Very classy film! Well made. It made me jump a few times and kept me awake forsure. It's fresh for a horror film and has a story for once that takes a little brain to follow. 2021 has had bad films. This wasn't bad thankfully.

Best Horror of 2021 so far. Makes the Purge and Malignant look like the Afterschool Special
16 October 2021
Much better than 2018. More entertainment and much scarier. I didn't think Michael could scare me anymore after years of watching him but they pulled it off. This is Michael's film!!! Almost like it's through Michael's eyes. So expect it to be crazy. Only the Hospital scenes felt out of place. Probably just to callback to Halloween 2 1981...I skipped most teasers for Hkills so it was a Roller Coaster, and It's not over yet. Don't like Gore? Awhh poor wittle baby.

A little bit of soundtrack, a little bit of gore, a bit of atmosphere!
24 January 2020
This movie is downright sick and cheesy but the atmosphere and soundtrack save it from being completely bad...whoever composed that soundtrack had a little bit of Carpenter in them... Just a tiny tiny tiny bit. But yea definitely a low grade film lol. Body count was about 13

Apparently everytime you see a Black male character on screen you're supposed to jump
24 January 2020
Not a in depth review, but I noticed every black male character is shown for a glimpse with loud music for a Jump scare... Which is the cheesiest thing in this movie, it's not even exactly stereotypical but it's just so CHEESY and black males don't scare me cause I am black. LOL well it actually might be stereotypical... Decent movie though.

Lol 100x more better/brutal with no audio or subtitles
23 January 2020
I put this film on and took my headphones out during a fight scene and wow it was much better without the corny 2000s / late 90s sounds and music. Just pure cinematography...this also isn't a good thing or bad I guess.

Lol definitely another Scream wannabe
19 January 2020
One of the better rip offs but still super cheesy and played out...just imagine if the killer in Scream was the Principle or Sidney's dad all along!

Good movie, could've been a perfect slasher though.
17 January 2020
Perfect humor, mystery, but where are the murders? The opening should've been what the entire film should focus around, a killer calling and asking creepy questions then killing them off, but this movie is almost all over the place once you get to the cliche High School scene...I even heard someone had to tell Wes Craven to throw in the High School kill scene because after the opening murder, we babble in the town with perfect humor, & mystery, but like I said, no murders happen for a good 30 minutes maybe, then the rest of the kills are super simple and nothing like the first. (Well the garage kill is cool when it's uncut) So it almost seems like they tried to take the original 1978 Halloween route with doing one kill for the intro, then the rest of the kills take place at a house way later into the film... Overall the movie is easy to watch, entertaining and definitely one of the top late 90s/early 2000s horror films made. (It's way more enjoyable than Halloween H20 if that's saying anything.) On top of all of this, I enjoy burtal horror films, like early gore exploitation films such as "Cannibals" "Absurd " and "Fight For Your Life" etc. and even I can say "Scream" is a great film

Willaim Forsythe steals the show
13 January 2020
William Forsythe is such a Bada$$ man in this film, he's out for revenge and is having daydreams about getting revenge. His character has such great hype whenever he's on screen

PG Version of Scream
13 January 2020
Imagine if Ghostface in Scream didn't even touch his victims, but all he literally did was chase them and talk a lil trash. Lol this is it, the PG version of Scream with no kills, no touching the victims, and no cussing...With that being said, it's your typical late 90s teen movie...the Villian is technically a good guy and causes no harm himself. Lol

People In the late 70s/80s should be ashamed of themselves
13 January 2020
Some of the deaths are Real. The guy who was washes up on shore was REAL. a lot of the animal scenes were real and fake. It's a mixture of both for a lot of the scenes. While some are also totally fake...People back then were so bored that they'd watch stuff like this lol, I love gore and horror but come on, mixing reality and faking around is just dumb and nasty. Who the h*** watches seals get beat to death and animals at the slaughter house? A weirdo. I've seen it all but I hate that I've seen it, and I dont usually stay around to watch stuff like that...Today's society is much worse though, just scroll down Facebook or Twitter for Faces Of Death part 10

Decent film but they should all be dead.
11 January 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I like Rob Zombies' films but it's kinda dumb and just disgusting he didn't kill off atleast a couple of the main villians...you would think they'd stop trying to be sadistic killers after Willam Forsythe gave them a taste of their own medicine. The Mexican cartel would destroy a few sadistic serial killers like nothing but of course it's a zombie movie. Then his wife, Sheri Moon's character learns to shoot arrows within maybe a day? But yeah someone or maybe all the villians should've been killed off. Come on Rob, YOU AREN'T MAKING ANOTHER ARE YOU? IF SO, KILL THESE VILLIANS OFF

Urban Legend (1998)
6/10
Barely decent.
11 January 2020
If this was PG13 like it could've been if you took out a few swears and a bit of blood, it probably wouldn't be too watchable but besides that, they copied Scream and just used Urban Legends as a throw in. Besides that, the end was just mocking scream even trying to have the wimpy killer use crazy dialogue that just didn't work It was more like "you wanna see crazy? I'll show you crazy person! " stereotype...lol that whole ending was FORCED to copy Scream... And Jared Leto really took a big step up with Requiem For A Dream because he sounds and acts nowhere near as good as he does in that movie! (In fact, Requiem For A Dream is much more disturbing and scarier than this, and that film is mainly just a Psychological Drama/Thriller!)

No better than Resurrection.
9 January 2020
I grew up watching Halloween and this was my least viewed one, but most memorable, watching it today, Michael moves like a hyper 20 year old with his head hanging down low sometimes? KEEP YOUR HEAD UP AND YOUR POSTURE UP MIKEY! he should be built and moving slower but with a coolness, like a 40 year old man...But apparently at first, this Michael was supposed to be a copycat killer but they changed it, so no wonder he moves like a young copycat, the characters aren't believable at all except for Jamie Lee, her son I think "Josh Hartnett"?? Acts like a stuck up girl, not just in the movie cause I can see through the script lines, but he definitely seems like a total D-Bag offset and onset! Overall, it's a copycat of Scream...They were sooo desperate to prove this that in one scene the girls are watching "Scream 2" from the same year almost! (1997, released about 8 months before H20) and it's somehow already on their cable TV or VHS? But I'm 90% POSITIVE this movie was filmed before Scream 2 was even available for Home Video or Cable lol! So I suspect the creators of Scream 2 and H20 were good ol pals around the late 90s, borrowing soundtracks, film clips, and even WRITERS from eachother Lol. BUT Michael Myers himself is supposed to be greater than the Scream Series, SCREAM WAS A PARODY WITH PERFECT HUMOR & MYSTERY, HALLOWEEN H20 SHOULD BE SCARY, SERIOUS, MYSTERIOUS AND MOSTLY TAKEN PLACE AT NIGHT, If I remember correctly, this film only has Michael in the night shadows during the beginning, and towards the end of the film. Yea, the original had him shown during daytime scenes but they did it to a perfect extent and we knew nothing about Michael at that point. & Last but not least, his mask is an entire different story of hate for me so...this movie is watchable even though the rest of the killing doesn't start until 50 minutes after the opening murders...Sorta just like Scream. Lol

Might as well call it Teens Of The Corn
7 January 2020
Half the cast is over 18 if I'm correct, lol seems like you couldn't get too many child actor a back then, the movie is mostly in daytime so it for certain isn't too scary at all. It's only effective for a October atmosphere.

Coming from a black 20 year old dude...this is garbage dialogue
5 January 2020
Lol the two white ladies who wrote this film were obviously jungle fever and tried to act ghetto! and even use black slang... The two little white girls even say "kiss his black boy ghetto lips" or something only a White lady would write, and I cringed! Lol! I know hiphop was big in 2003 but damn I didn't know all the girls were acting like they were in rap music videos each second of their lifes! Nikki Reed and Rachel Evan Wood, YOU WERE NOT BLACK IN 2003! Lol with that being said, I couldn't really relate to the emo , sad girl, depressed smoking cigs vibe at all...but the parents divorced situation I could relate to kinda...other than that, I just wouldn't be surprised if I'm the only black guy to watch this movie in 2020...If you want a controversial, teens on drugs, sex, and depression movie that doesn't force the ghetto slang too much, with dialogue that flows much more natural with a simple dark story, then just go watch "KIDS" from 1995.
