Next in Fashion (2020)
Very much worth the look. Satisfying all the way through.
I'm not really into reality television though I do like watching creative RT especially when I can skip through the boring bits.
This show was absolutely amazing, the contestants are pulled from a pool of slightly obscur but already established designers, my friends into high end underwear might recognize the creator of MarcoMarco.
The guest judges were absolutely amazing and were not afraid to truly be heard and voice their opinions (which lead to a very heated moment during the elimination segment of one of the episodes).
Deadwater Fell (2020)
A series of gut punches
This show was rough to watch mainly because of the subject matter. Was also really hard to see David Tennant playing such a scummy character.
Worth the watch but fair warning the subject matter involves spousal abuse mental/physical, gaslighting and infanticide.
The Stranger (2020)
What a ride!
This show was so good and jam packed with suspense. I was definetly on the edge of my seat throughout most of it.
Locke & Key (2020)
This review is pre graphic novel and post graphic novel...
PRE:
When I read a review of it, I was concerned that it would be another teen angst series since it was described as being a cross between riverdale and house on haunted hill. But ultimately it was far from being another riverdale.
The story is/was truly unique and captivating, and even though it didn't have the horror element of house on haunted hill, it still hit all the right spots.
Im really excited to read the comic books when I get my hands on them.

IVE GOT BEEF! (With Locke and key)
What they did they do to this story?!?! Like they butchered it.
Having seen the show before reading the comic, the show is great. But now that im reading the comic, they destroyed the story and im only 4 issues in. Where is all the gore, the foul language, the missing characters, the truck driver bj's?!
Even the characters (though diverse) look nothing like they should. Tyler Locke should look like a frumpier moose from Archie comics, Kinsey should have dreads and not that lazy splash of pink in her hair, and though I was surprised and excited to see Darby Stanchfield (Scandal) she was definetly the wrong choice to play Nina Locke...like they even left out her damn cane.
If they would have stuck to the themes in the comic book, this show would be rated R instead of the barely pg13 that it is now and would have been a billion times better.
Salt Fat Acid Heat (2018)
A must watch for my kitchen inclined friends.
Amazing four-part series on how to use salt, fat, acid and heat while cooking.
Samin Nosrat is such a great guide in this journey of taste, and the filming locations in Japan, Mexico, Italy are just amazing!
I Am Not Okay with This (2020)
Definitely a must see, and an easy binge watch show.
Wow, just wow!
"I am not ok with this" is a pretty awesome coming of age/possible superpower origin story that doesn't drag its feet in the way that most netflix teen shows do.
At just under 30 minutes per episode and only 7 episodes in the season, it manages to make the viewer understand who Syd (main character) is and what makes her tick.
Spy Games (2020)
If you come across the show...RUN! Don't look back.
I try not to watch any reality television, but once in a while something catches my eye where I tell myself "Hm, this might actually be good".
For a show that boasts being inspired by the once-secret World War II government program known as "Station S" I was dead wrong and ultimately duped by a catchy show description, it definitely falls into the category of shows I wish I never saw.
Beyond the judges who I feel should star in their own movies/shows, the rest was pure garbage. Horrible contestants, which is the usual scummy type of people that these shows tend to cast, "missions" that are at best substandard escape rooms, and a final winner that really didn't deserve it.
